Our first item of business is the complete streets checklist for the Alameda Safety Project.

Good evening, Commissioners.

Uh, my name is Josh.

Uh, I'm the civil uh senior civil engineer engineer with City of Belmont Public Work Department.

Tonight I will provide uh uh project updates on our uh Alamitic de Los Parkers corridor project and follow up followed up by a complete street checklist.

Uh the project actually started like uh more than 10 years ago, so I will first share some background information for this project.

Uh in 20 in 2014, and the a four corner uh four corner study groups was established.

Uh the member included uh City of St.

Carlos, City of Belmont, and the Secure High School District and the San Carlos.

Uh next one.

Uh the reason uh we established this study group because Alameda de Las Poggas experienced a very heavy traffic congestion during the morning and afternoon uh school periods uh due to the traffic come from or several schools along the Alameda de Las Pagas corridor, the Carmon High, the TLENA Middle School, Trust Armstrong.

Uh so uh so we establish this traffic studies, and uh the key issue we want to aim to address is safety, traffic circulation, and also the uh multimodal accessibilities.
