This is our um pre-certification meeting uh just for the public.

That means we will be reviewing uh the pre-certification report.

There will be no um action taken, and there will be a certification meeting on uh next Tuesday.

We have two members, two uh individuals for public comment today.

Public comments may be made in person or by submitting an email of one printed page or less at a minimum font of 12 to election public CCMT at DeCab County GA.gov, which must be received between 35 and five minutes before the scheduled start of the meeting.

The body of your email must include your first and last name.

By submitting an email for public comment, you agree to have your name and email broadcast on Ustream and entered into the record and minutes.

The DeCab Board of Registration reserves the right at the board's sole discretion to add your email to the record without reading any of it into the broadcast, or to read a portion of your email into the record of minutes.

All public comments will be limited to two minutes.

Abusive, profane or derogatory language, holding up signs, clapping, yelling, standing, laying the aisles to show support for or opposition for a speaker will not be permitted, but a show of hands quietly standing in place, will be permitted to show your support or opposition to a speaker's position.

Okay, good morning, all to a lot of people here.

Um, the big reason is that I wanted to see quickly what was done at this meeting, and um I did want to put forth, I think the elections went very well in DeCab County.

I thank you for that.

Um I also want to say that uh I because I may or may not be able to make the meeting on Tuesday, which I'm sure will be a lot more crowded than this, because um you've scheduled this at the same time that the DeCab Commission meeting is going on, and uh even though it starts at nine o'clock, it very seldom ever gets over by 11 something to be able to get here.

And I think that I wish again, my only complaint is I wish you'd move that to 4 30 where you have other like monthly meetings because much again clothing is not available yet, and I can't be at two places at one time.

So uh if I'm not able to make Tuesday, I just hope that uh I hope again, as you did before, that uh the majority of the representatives on this board will go to the um which I hope I may be able to go to the state board of elections meeting, which is on June 3rd and 4th, and I call it an hours away instead of being in downtown Atlanta, which I don't understand, but in a way I do understand.

But uh let's just keep on trucking till uh it's time to see what happens on July 1st.

I am just here in solidarity to say that this meeting is not valuable.

And reviewing incomplete results do not add to the process except for adding a burden to the board members and to the staff.

We are now ready for the pre-certification report, which will be uh presented by Deputy Director.

Good morning.

So you have in front of you the unofficial and incomplete comparison of ballots tabulated and unique voter registration numbers credited by precincts and counting groups.

So they are currently a difference of six.

Well, 174,341 ballots have been cast.

And so far we have recorded 174,343 credits.

A difference of eight in early voting, a difference of 52 in election day, mostly attributed to a confusion at one polling place during the use of manual backup, and they inadvertently placed seven, gave 17 ballots in Ashford Dunwoody.

You'll see that on the report on page one.

They gave 17 ballots to the silver lake, and then you'll see the difference.

At the bottom, you'll see they had 16 additional ballots.

So that's the difference there.

We are continuing to identify voters whose credits may not have been clearly documented, and voters who may have left without voting, and some of the remaining differences will be corrected as they are identified when we certify the election on Tuesday.

Were there any fraud, error or situation that was or needs to be reported to the district attorney?

I was not made aware of any good.

Unusual voter waiting, unusual voter waiting times.

I was not made aware of any.

Did the Secretary of State's office direct you to make any changes to the numbers you submitted?

No.

And how many provisionals are still awaiting resolution?

We're working on that right now, and once we resolve that, that will not take place until the end of today at five o'clock when they have an opportunity to bring to you know to hear them.

So we will not know that number until the certification.

We don't know the number of provisionals.

We should have that number.
