Yeah, right there.

3:19

Thank you.

3:19

That's great.

3:20

So I just wanted to point out a couple things on this.

3:23

Uh one thing that's kind of unique is just the timing.

3:26

The reason for the setback at all is because the land use to the south is used as residential, even though it's zoned the same as our project, which that means if that project came in today, they would have zero setbacks because our use is consistent with our zoning.

3:40

So that's kind of why we're here with respect to the setback.

The meeting included public hearings on a site plan for the Edmond New Hall building (U-Haul project), a zoning ordinance updating massage therapy business regulations, and the proposed FY 2026-2027 budget. He recommended prioritizing capital over operational spending and cited benchmarks showing Edmond has 9-9.5 employees per 1,000 residents versus Oklahoma City (7.7) and Norman (7.3). He also noted Edmond’s sales tax rate is 8.25% (lowest in metro) but per-resident collections exceed neighbors.
