And Aaron Allen is here on behalf of Marco.

0:54

Anything further, Aaron.

0:58

He did not leave me any notes regarding this agreement.

1:01

So I'm assuming he uh reviewed it.

1:04

Okay.

1:06

Any questions from the board?

1:08

No.

1:34

This is 2026-27 CDBG IDIS number 5094.

1:40

Lisa Foster with DMD.

1:43

Good afternoon, Mr.

1:44

President, members of the board.

1:46

This is actually to extend the contract with action staffing through June 30th of 2027.

1:52

We have a retired DMD employee who comes in and helps us with some of the institutional knowledge that she has and helps us with our home pro home funds and our CDBG projects.

2:08

So outstanding.

2:10

And who's that?

2:11

Uh Donna Bailey.

2:12

Great.

2:16

Any questions from the board?

2:18

No.

2:19

So on our agenda at 7-1 of 25 to 6 30 of 26.

Is that incorrect?

2:30

Okay.

2:31

So it just needs to be checked.

2:32

It is going through.

2:33

Yeah.

2:33

The original contract went through June 30th of 2026.

2:37

Okay.

2:37

And action staffing agreed to all the terms staying the same.

2:41

So we are extending the contract then through 27.

2:44

We're allowed, I think, one extension on that contract.

2:48

Without having to put it back out for rebid.

2:51

Thank you.

2:52

Yeah, thank you.

2:53

I'll change that date to 27th here.

2:55

Motion to approve.

2:57

Second.

2:58

All in favor?

2:59

Aye.

3:00

Aye.

3:00

Thank you.

3:01

Thank you, Lisa.

3:02

Next up, the city of Evansville BPW requests approval to transfer a 2001 Ford F 550 VIN number 1 FDA F 56 F01 ED 00813 to the zoo.

3:15

This vehicle will be for a golf cart.

3:20

So I'm quite so you're converting a Ford F 550 into a golf cart.

3:24

That seems like a large reduction in capacity.

3:27

Not quite, Mr.

3:28

President and Board members.

3:29

Um but uh this is just basically a transfer of assets.

3:32

Uh we have a piece of equipment that is no longer is beyond this useful life for us, and they have a golf court that's beyond their useful life, and so we're just swapping out pieces of equipment.

3:43

Understood.

3:44

Any other questions from the board?

3:46

No.

3:47

Motion for approval?

3:48

Motion to approve.

3:49

Second.

3:50

All in favor?

3:50

Aye.

3:51

Aye.

3:52

Next up, the city of Evansville City Engineers request approval of the subdivision sidewalk waiver for River Valley 4 to wave sidewalks along the north side of the proposed road extension.

4:04

Brian?

4:04

Yeah, this is this is a uh development of a lot in a subdivision off a constellation just east of Green River Road.

4:15

They're gonna put uh sidewalks on the south side, which is the their lot, but the north side is is not their lot, and uh so we're they requested waiving that requirement and um there's no uh sidewalks to tie into on that north side, but there are sidewalks on the south side.

4:36

What other approvals are they gonna need to get for this as well?

4:39

Is this go through other like area?

4:41

Um, it's already gone through all of all the approvals that comes to us for the final okay.

4:47

Any questions from the board?

4:49

No, do I hear a motion for approval?

4:51

Motion to approve.

4:52

Second.

4:53

All in favor?

4:54

Aye.

4:54

Aye.

4:55

Next up, the city of Evansville City Engineers requests approval of appendix A right-away permit applications with the following recommendations.

5:03

Right-of-way application applications 2993 through 2997, 2999 through 3008, and 3011, no exceptions as submitted.

5:19

There is a conditional approval for right-of-way application 3010 for the Bayes Street right-of-way parking only.

5:28

And then third, the South Kentucky Avenue right-of-way parking is not approved as it would block site distance at the Bay Street intersection.

5:39

Yeah, so application 3010 asks for parking in the right-of-way along Kentucky and Bays at that corner.

5:49

Coming off of Bays onto Kentucky, parking in the right-of-way will block site distance to the north.

5:54

So we do not recommend allowing parking in that right of way.

5:57

However, parking in Bay Street is okay.

6:01

Understood.

6:02

Parking and Bay Street right of way.

6:05

And then I understand we have some questions from the community on this.

6:09

One talking, please though.

6:11

Sure.

6:11

David Condi, property owner of the property on South Kentucky.

6:16

Could you say that one more time in the microphone to make sure it's captured?

6:18

My name is Dave Condi.

6:19

I'm property owner of the this property in question on South Kentucky.

6:23

Thank you.

6:24

I see where he's approved the side the South Side parking.

6:27

I also submitted something for the 1700 block of South Kentucky.

6:30

Yes, that's approved.

6:32

Which uh which one was that?

6:33

I haven't.

6:36

Is that the first ones?

6:38

It was in the it was in the group that's approved, yes.

6:41

Okay, so that is approved.

6:43

For the angle parking instead of straight in.

6:45

Yes, that's the last one on that list if you have this page right here.

6:49

It's at the very bottom, number 3011, I believe.

6:56

It's hard to see.

6:59

No, I don't see it.

7:00

Okay.

7:00

Okay.

7:01

So just checking back, it's approved.

7:03

Okay, thank you.

7:04

Thank you.

7:06

And then lastly, exceptions are taken on applications 2998 and 3009 as the proposed work is in the county.

7:13

As always, compliant maintenance of traffic procedures for the Indiana MUTCD should be implemented as required for each site specific.

7:19

Board of Public Safety approval may be required prior to any lane restriction or street closure.

7:24

Any open pavement cut repair shall adhere to the current city engineering utility cut repair detailed requirements.

Contract Extension with Action Staffing – Lisa Foster from the Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) requested an extension of the contract with Action Staffing from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027 (not to exceed $25,000).
