Goose Creek City Council Meeting - September 9, 2025

The Goose Creek City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM in Council Chambers.   • John Savioli (402 Gianna Lane) asked about a property annexation (TMS 244-01-04-036) and was informed it was on the agenda under New Business.

  • National Adult Day Services Week: Mayor Habib read a proclamation declaring September 21-27, 2025 as National Adult Day Services Week in Goose Creek, highlighting the city's therapeutic recreation program.

New Business \u0026 Public Hearings

  • Big Idea Grant Resolution (Final Reading): Resolution committing $5,000 local match to apply for a $100,000 MASC Big Idea Grant for an AI Integration Plan. Approved unanimously with no public comments.
  • Drive-Through Facility, Micro (First Reading): Ordinance amending the Zoning Code to add "Drive-Through Facility, Micro" (buildings 750 sq ft or less, food/drink only, no amplified ordering system) in the Village Node (VN) district. Councilmember Enos-Sims clarified that the restriction on amplified ordering systems is total, not time-limited. Approved unanimously.
