I want to recognize uh the SAFE organization, Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment, and then recognizing the work that Lexi Johnson uh wellness for her support of the fallen first responders in the Arrowhead Stadium stair climb.

Uh the surviving spouse and family endowment is a nonprofit of the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission.

It provides immediate unconditional financial assistance to families of fallen first responders who leave their who lose their lives in the line of duty across the Kansas City Metro area.

Safe under the leadership of the amazing Jan Zimmerman has served as a compassionate and stabilizing force for grieving families, especially in the past 18 months, during which five local first responders died in the line of duty.

Lexi Johnson, a health wellness expert and a Missouri Tiger and trainer inspired by her father and brother, both firefighters, founded the Lexi J.

Wellness 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor those who lost their lives on September 11th and to use that to support SAFE here in the Kansas City area.
