Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of the Disability Advisory Commission. The meeting is now called to order. Will the clerk please call roll to establish a quorum? Thank you chair. Commissioners, if you can please unmute your microphones. Commissioner Greenbaum. Present. Commissioner Green has noted that they would be absent this meeting. Commissioner Dyson. Present. Commissioner Tuzon Void. Present. Commissioner Mercer. Present. Commissioner Ellis. Present. Vice Chair Kramer. Present. Commissioner Carr will be absent this meeting and Chair Crowley. Present. Thank you. We have a quorum. I'm going to read a little bit for just all of us to acknowledge some of the items related to quorum. Quorum shall be required for the commission to take any action. Quorum shall be five members. However in the event of any vacancy or vacancies, the quorum shall be a majority of the members then serving on the commission. The affirmative vote of a majority of the members present in voting shall be necessary to approve any item as per ordinance 2001-05 section 1. I would like to remind members of the public welcome everyone. Tuzon Chamber that if you would like to speak on an agenda item, please turn in a speaker slip when the item begins and speaker slips can be found on the desk to my right. You will have two minutes to speak once you are called. After the first speaker, we will no longer accept speaker slips and we will now proceed with today's agenda. This portion of our meeting is for land acknowledgment and pledge of allegiance. May everyone please rise for the opening acknowledgments. In honor of the Sacramento, Indigenous people and tribal lands. To the original people of this land, the Nicesan people, the southern Maidu, Vali and played Miwok, Patwin Mintun peoples and the people of the Wilton Rancheria. Sacramento's only federally recognized tribe. May we acknowledge and honor the native people who came before us and still walk beside us today on these ancestral lands by choosing to gather together today in the active practice of acknowledgement and appreciation for Sacramento's Indigenous people's history, contributions and lives.
