20:57
The Declaration of Independence states that all people are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
21:07
This simple yet powerful idea has influenced our nation for nearly 250 years.
21:14
Many founders share the conviction that freedom flourishes when citizens honor God and have respect for one another.
21:24
Our nation's liberty has also been strengthened by Americans who have served their communities, defended freedom, and loved their neighbors.
21:33
As we celebrate our nation's heritage, may we be grateful for the blessings of liberty and honor those who helped secure it.
21:43
Especially in application firecracker 5K, scheduled for July 4th, 2026, starting at 500 East Second Street.
21:53
Looking at the firecracker 5K in the celebration of July 4th, I'm grateful for the blessings of our nation.
22:02
Reminds us that liberty is a gift worth protecting and celebrating.
22:07
On July 4th, 1776, our founders declared this is worth repeating that all people are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
22:22
Those words have inspired generations of Americans to build stronger families, communities, businesses, schools, and places of worship.
22:30
July 4th is also an opportunity to remember the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who helped establish this nation.
22:38
Through many challenges, Americans have continued moving forward.
22:44
As families gather, as we come together and the American flag flies free, we celebrate the freedom to speak, to serve, to vote, and pursue our God-given purpose.
22:59
A special event application, folds of honor, Freedom Fest presented by Quick Trips scheduled for July 4th, 2026.
23:09
I'm grateful for the opportunity to honor both our nation's freedom and the women and men whose service has helped preserve it.
23:19
Reminds us that freedom carries both blessings and responsibilities.
23:23
Throughout our nation's history, individuals have served with courage and sacrifice.
23:28
So future generations could enjoy the liberties we cherish.
23:32
The Bible reminds us in Galatians 5 13.
23:36
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.
23:40
Serve one another humbly in love.
23:44
Freedom finds one of its highest expressions when it is used to serve others.
23:50
Thank you, Counselor, staff, and team for serving others.
23:54
I'm grateful for the folds of honor, Quick Trip, the organizers, volunteers, first responders, and city staff who make this celebration possible.
