Uh the environmental uh there's a few environmental tasks that were not used.

Uh it was added in case FHWA needed uh us to supply more information regarding uh uh mitigations and uh a nationwide permitting.

All right, and so from we took some of the funds from that and supplied uh went toward bid phase and a few redesign phases uh uh for this project.

So basically this is my nice left over.

So uh before um redesigning, so there was a few things in this project that we needed redesign the northern uh shared use path.

The originally uh this contract had that that shared use path straight, a straight line, and then we had to uh wait.

We we redesigned it to weave around the transmission poles that will be uh uh there for this project.

Uh another designed it to weave around transmission, yes, sir.

That required regrading, it shifted a lot of things, so we had to take care of that.

Um that was the that was the major one uh working with uh uh property owners during right-of-way acquisition.

A few of them needed a few different things, wanted a few different things.

So working with them, uh we redesigned a few things like their driveway or relocating a sign or something like that.

Why would we redesign a driveway?

Just uh to make the relocation acquisition smoother.

Um I will say that originally the reload the right-of-way acquisition phase was thinking was going to take a year and a half long, and we shrunk it down to eight months.

We were on top of it.

We were meeting with property owners.

We were we were they uh TTL and Tom Bobbett, you know, they they the group they crushed it.

That's right-away driven, right?

To get more efficiency.

Item three is approval of a professional services agreement with Garber LLC for the Hilliard Fletcher phase three improvement project.

Um, so yes, this is uh offered request for authorization for engineering on the third phase of improvements at the WERF the exhibit that was in the packet and on the screen kind of shows um what we've done out there in the in the past couple years.

Um this project is the northern bold square.

That's the blower building.

So in this project, we've got three components, the return activated sludge pumps, those are housed in that that rectangle between the circles on the north side of the drawing.

So those are five pumps that recycle the activated sludge from the secondary clarifiers to the aeration basin.

So those need replacing, and then the aeration second component aeration blowers replacement.

So that's replacement of four 600 horsepower blowers, and which would include variable frequency drives.

Um, these are electric motors, so that helps dial in the speed and creates efficiency.

Um, so you're not using as much power.

Um, so those are in need of updating, and then the third component would be the septic receiving station rehab.

So that's replacement of existing valves, actuators, level transmitters.

Um there's there's bar racks, so I guess let me back up the septic receiving station is if you get your septic tank pumped out, there's vendors that do that and they come to the plant and discharge, and this is the receiving station which they do that.

So these improvements will help protect the the uh downstream process equipment.

So those are the three components.

Um the design is uh expected to take seven months conceptually our rough order of magnitude cost is 11 million dollars for construction.

Um the current budget uh we don't anticipate we'll be able to fund all that.

We expect to design it all, have a comprehensive design, do a short-term construction project to do what we can and then phase in the rest of it in the future.

Um I believe that's uh any questions.

So Mary, it's just one of the ones we talked about uh incrementally financing as it becomes uh evident what needs to be done there.

Is this one of the projects we talked about finding ways to finance incrementally as we move along or we I think that the one that you're thinking about might be um the improvements to the um it's it's not this one, it's to the acceptance dumping facility that we were talking about is how we would finance it over time, it's not this specific project.

Yeah, this this project does include short-term version of that, and then the long term we would figure out think that would be you know, in terms of specific discussions on the financing of the long-term part of this.

I don't know that we've had those.

I think our plan is we know we need to get something designed.

We know we need looking roughly a million to get it designed, right?

That'll take seven months.

And then what do you think the first thing might rough order of magnitude would be before we need to start looking elsewhere for sources of funds?

Well, we hit we'll have an additional one and a half million dollars in budget.

I think I think I'm anticipating we'll do most of the RAS pumps with that.

We also have a source of funding for the short-term septage uh improvements, so we should be able to do all that.

So, what that'll leave for future funding is whatever's left in the RAS pumps and the blowers.

So, and depending on how we work through the design, we'll continue to kind of understand the priorities.

That's I think that's part of the the exercises we go through design.

Um at station six, as part of the construction project, we installed a draft pit, which is for uh testing of their pumper trucks as well as okay, primarily testing of their pumper trucks.

Um this draft pit is like it sounds it's a larger draft, it's a large pit that is um supplied by six-inch water main.

That line, when fully open, is causing some pressure issues in the fire station as well as some of the surrounding occupancies.

We want to install a pressure reducing glove valve so that we can lock that pressure at a set amount and eliminate the loss of pressure to the surrounding properties.

Um we are wanting to add to the contractor scope some additional grading work inside JC Park as well as removing an existing corrugated pipe that runs along Kicker Road.

Uh, there was a utility entrance into JC Park that is being eliminated by the project itself.

Um we did not cover and design the removal of that underground pipe, um, but the amount of rainfall that we had in the spring identified that pipe as an issue for storm drainage, and we want to go ahead and get that out while we're working in the area.

Tim, what's the total size of the contract it's been added to?

It that that puts this contract just over 10 million.

I don't know that exact amount, but it we're just exceeding 10 million with this ad.

And how will this how will this be funded?

No, no, there's a corresponding budget revision on finance committee for elevate.

So how is this discovered after the original design was so there are two things happening here?

The the kicker road work.

Um we had uh I don't know, historic rainfall uh in the months of April, May, and June.

Um I believe OCE as well as public works received multiple complaints as far as storm drainage onto kicker road.

This it was certainly not something that was obvious, I don't believe, to any of us prior to the uh design work.

Um and so since we were already removing that entrance, that service entrance to the park, we felt like now is a good time to go ahead.

He doesn't like fun and include removing that underground pipe entirely.

So the service entrance that was removed is was coming off the kicker road side.
