Yesterday, I was fortunate to attend the Intelligence and National Security Alliance Conference here in the county, a gathering of the I-5 federal agencies who shared their experiences with intelligence hubs in other parts of the country and the benefits to the nation and our locality from Ravana Station and the Ravana Futures Project.

Several of them asked how widely known is Ravana Station in our community.

I encourage citizens to learn more about the station, which I have supported beginning in 2008, and how proud I am of the current status and the future, which has been brought about by our great efforts on county staff work and this board.

Secondly, uh December 14th at noon, all across the nation will be ceremonies, wreaths across America.

Our local one is celebrated at the Dogwood Vietnam Memorial at MacIntyre Park, followed by Reeves presented here at the County Memorial on the County Lawn, followed by I will take them to Oakley Memorial and the Early Sville Memorial.

The skate park gate will be open for parking on the hill above the memorial, and Bruce Eads, who's the Dogwood Foundation, President sends invitation to all to please join as we remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom.
