I'm pleased to call to order this meeting of the Alpamaro County Board of Supervisors on the 16th of April at 1 p.m.

in Lane Auditorium.

I'd like to know at the day we have Supervisor Mike Proud of the Scottsville District, Supervisor B.

Lapisto Kirtley of the Ravanna District, Supervisor Diantha McKeel of the Jack Jewett District, Supervisor Ned Galloway of the Rio District, Supervisor Ann Malik of the Whitehall District, and myself, Jim Andrews, representing the Samuel Miller District Aquorum is present.

We're also joined here by our county executive, Mr.

Jeff Richardson, our county attorney, Mr.

Andy Herrick, our clerk, Miss Claudette Borgerson and our senior deputy clerk, Travis Morris, Travis Morris.

Also, let me please welcome Albemarle County Police Officers present, uh, Master Police Officer Jerry Schenck and Officer Caden Pater.

We thank you for your service today here and every day on behalf of the residents and citizens of Almoral County.

This brings us to uh item five, which is brief announcements by board members with our order for today, starting with Supervisor Galloway.

I do not have any announcements today.

Then we turn to Supervisor Pruitt.

Nothing at this time.

And Supervisor McKeel.

Yes, I just want to recognize and thank staff for participating and doing such a great job with my budget town hall on Monday evening.

We had about, I think about 25 or 26 citizens at Journey Middle School.

And I believe about 30 staff members, Jeff.

If my recollection is correct.

And it was a great event, good questions.

And folks were very uh pleased to be able to come and that we had the event for them to find out more about the budget.

So, and that's all I had.

Um, I appreciate also all of the citizens and staff who attended the the Western Admiral High School meeting.

Um a few smaller than than we'd had in the past, but it was a great turnout, lots of good questions.

My reminder for the community and for the building today is that this Friday, April 18th at 11, will be the 58th, 59th rededication of the Dogwood Memorial, uh Vietnam Memorial down at down the road here at the McIntyre Park Corner.

And uh parking will be available in the field.

One goes in through the skate park for that event.

And hope to see people there.
