Good afternoon. I am pleased to call to order this uh meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors on the 10th of December 2025 at 1 p.m. in Lane Auditorium in the back of our office building uh for the Board of Supervisors. We have Supervisor Ann Malik of the White Hall District, Supervisor McNeil Galloway of the Rio District, Supervisor Van McGeal of the Jack Jewett District, Supervisor B. Lapisto Kirkland of the Ravana District, Supervisor Mike Bruitt of the Scottsville District, and myself, Jim Andrews representing the Samuel Miller district quorum is present. We're also joined by our county executive, Mr. Jeff Richardson, our county attorney, Mr. Andy Herrick, our clerk, Ms. Claudette Borgerson, and our senior deputy clerk, Travis Morris. Also let me please welcome the Albemarle County Police Officers present, Officers Daniel Bonnie and Lauren Daly. Thank you for your service today. And every day on behalf of the residents, uh citizens of Albemarle County for our safety, security, and protection. If all present could now stand as you are able and join us in the Pledge of Allegiance. And to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice. Thank you. Now please join us in a moment of silence. Board, as always, our first item of business is adoption of the final agenda. I've heard no request to change anything on the agenda. There may be something on the consent agenda, but that's not the agenda. So if not I'm looking for a motion to approve the final agenda. So moved. Second. Little to announce other than to say I had a lovely time joining the Scottsville holiday happening over the weekend. A lot of artisans, even though it was, let's be honest, brutal, brutal weather. So it all worked out. And I mentioned this in part to remind everyone, we are getting into the holiday season. We're pretty deep in the holiday season to the point where people might be scrambling to find some stocking stuffers. We have so many local artisans and local businesses throughout Albemarle County, and I'm sure that folks would find that they can find plenty to stuff a stocking by walking down any of our main streets.
