I am the chairperson for the City of Appleton Parades Committee.

We just wrapped up parade season.

Uh we have an unusual situation in Appleton where we have two pretty important parades, pretty much back to back within about two weeks of each other.

We had the annual Memorial Day parade and moment of remembrance ceremony on Monday, May 27th.

Uh student speakers were outstanding.

Addison Walt from Appleton North did an outstanding job in the keynote speaker position.

We did have one of our participants succumbed to the heat, and he was Johnny on the spot or Jacob on the spot, whatever you want to say.
