As a kid, my former country would Republican Vietnam.

They don't exist anymore after the war ended in uh April 30th, 1975.

Today I got three service members of the United States that uh serve in Vietnam.

And uh and I have something that I would like to present to him and thanked him for their service because you remember uh about over fifty years ago when he got home.

Uh they were shunned by the American uh people and uh uh and they got called maybe kill us, but uh they didn't get uh welcome home like soldier we got today.

So today I want to call each one of them up here so I can uh present them uh the little plaque and uh I got a coin for each one of them.

Uh first I like uh uh former uh lit Captain Linder's uh Yelverton uh uh United State Air Force, so will you keep it coming up?

Items Withdrawn from Consent (7.24): One speaker (Leo Andriani, SHB Development) expressed support for the SHB Offices development plan. One additional non-speaker registered in support.
Public Hearing 10.3 – Gas Drilling SUP09-20R1: Three speakers appeared in opposition: Rogelio Meixueiro, Zaraih Dickson, and Stacy Mello. They argued that continued fracking poses health risks, pollutes the air, and lacks sufficient public benefit, calling on council to prioritize public health over oil profits.
