The Planning and Zoning Commission of Arlington, Texas, convened on May 1, 2024, at 5:30 PM in the City Hall Council Chamber (101 W. Abram Street) for a Plat Agenda session. The meeting covered approval of prior minutes and two consent agenda plats, all passed with majority support.
We will call this plat meeting to order here. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Linda Gibson. I serve as chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Arlington. I hereby call this regularly noticed meeting of the City of Arlington's Planning and Zoning Commission Platin Agenda for May 1st into session. Commissioner Carter, will you lead us in the pledge, please? Liberty and Justice Roll. Okay, a copy of the minutes of our April 17th, 2024 Plat Agenda meeting were sent to all commissioners in advance. Were there any changes or corrections needed? If not, do I have a motion to approve the minutes? I have a motion from Commissioner Finley and a second from Commissioner Nunez. Please cast your votes. Motion passes 70 with one abstention. We'll move on to the consent, excuse me, the consent agenda plates to be approved with conditions this evening, and we have two platts to be approved with conditions. The first one is a minor plat of the F Escobar North Edition and a conveyance plat of the Great Southwest Industrial District Edition. So is anyone out here involved at either of those? All right. Do I have a motion to approve? I do. Commissioner Nunez has votes for the approval of this motion. And the second is Commissioner Payne. Please cast your votes. Motion passes 8 0.
