Arlington Planning and Zoning Commission Plat Agenda – May 15, 2024
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Arlington, Texas, convened a regular plat agenda session on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 5:33 PM in the Council Chamber at City Hall. Chairperson Linda Gibson presided. All seven commissioners were present: Chairperson Gibson, Commissioners Talambas, Finley, Ware, Payne, Greer, and Carter. The meeting was called to order, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The commission unanimously approved the minutes from the May 1, 2024 meeting and then considered three plat applications on the consent agenda, all of which were approved with conditions as recommended by staff.

- Minutes Approval: The minutes of the May 1, 2024 plat session were approved unanimously (6-0, with Commissioner Talambas abstaining) via a motion by Commissioner Payne and second by Commissioner Ware.
- Consent Agenda – Plats to be Approved with Conditions: The commission considered three items as a single consent agenda. No public comments were received. The consent agenda was approved 7-0 on a motion by Commissioner Talambas and second by Commissioner Greer.
- V.A – Final Plat – Slaughter Addition: Lots 1 through 6, Block 1, zoned Entertainment District Overlay (EDO) and Residential Medium Density (RM-12), located south of Slaughter Street and east of North Mesquite Street, address 206 Slaughter Street.
- V.B – Preliminary Plat – Eden Ranch: Lot 1X, Lots 2-26, Lot 27X, Block 1; Lot 1X, Lots 2-15, Block 2; Lot 1X, Block 3; and Lot 1X, Block 4, zoned Tierra Verde on the Green at Tierra Verde (VG), located north of Eden Road and east of Joplin Road, approximate addresses 4969, 4911, 4907 Eden Road and 6851, 6861 Joplin Road.
- V.C – Final Plat – CCMD Addition: Zoned Residential Single Family (RS7.2), located west of North Davis Drive and south of San Marcos Drive, address 2106 North Davis Drive.

Agenda meeting to order. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Linda Gibson. I serve as chair of Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Arlington. I hereby call this regularly noticed meeting of the City of Arlington's Planning and Zoning Commission Platte Agenda for May 15th, 2024 into session. Commissioner Payne, will you lead us in the pledge, please? A copy of the minutes from our May 1st, 2024 meeting were sent to all the commissioners in advance. Are there any changes or corrections to the minutes? If not, do I have a motion to approve the minutes? I have a motion from Commissioner Payne and a second from Commissioner Ware. Please cast your votes. Thank you. The final plat for Slaughter Edition, the preliminary plat for Eden Ranch, and a final plat for CCMD addition. We don't have any cards yet. Are there any speakers concerning those three plates? Not seeing in it, I'll notice that we have a motion to approve the plats with conditions by Commissioner Tolumbas and a second from Commissioner Greer. Please cast your votes.
