Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Dr. Ignacio Nunez. I serve as chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Arlington. I hereby call this regularly noticed meeting of the City of Arlington's Planning and Zoning Commission Plat Agenda for October the 2nd, 2024 into session. Paige, would you please lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance? Yes, sir. I pledge allegiance to the United States. I'm voted in the visible liberty and justice crawl. Thank you very much. At this time, I'm going to ask our administration to read the speaker guidelines in general decorum. The City of Arlington fully embraces the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility where people of all identities and experiences are understood, appreciated, and fully included in the community, or equitable treatment and outcomes prevail. We ask that the citizens and other visitors in attendance assist in preserving the order and decorum of the meeting and to provide for attendance and participation in the meeting without fear of intimidation, threats, or hostility. Any person making personal profane hostile slanders or threatening remarks who uses vulgar or obscene language who engages in any other actions that disturb or calculated to disturb the meeting, or who becomes just disrupted by while addressing the planning and zoning commissioners while attending the planning zoning meeting may be removed from the council chambers. All speakers shall address the commissioners and not the audience or city staff, and she will not call out individually named members of city staff or the public. For speakers tonight, when your name is called, please come to the microphone at the podium and state your name and city of residence for the record. The applicant will be asked to speak first and will be given 10 minutes to make a presentation. Speakers and supporter or opposition of the item will be given five minutes each to make their statements. If there are many speakers for an item, each speaker will be given three minutes to make their statements. The applicant will then be given five minutes for any rebuttal. If multiple speakers plan to provide the same or similar comments, those speakers may, if they so desire, designate one or more individuals to provide public comment on behalf of the group. A bell will signal the end of each speaker's time. In consideration of other speakers, please conclude your comments promptly when you hear the bill. We ask that you address your comments to the planning and zoning commissioners. Thank you very much. Uh copy of the minutes of our September the 18th, 2024 Plat Agenda meeting where we're sent to all the commissioners in advance. Were there any changes or corrections needed to the minutes? If there are none, do I have a motion and a second? I have a motion to approve by Commissioner Blake and a second by Commissioner Payne. Uh please uh cast your ballot or your vote. Motion passes unanimously. Next on the uh on our on our consent agenda are plots to be approved with conditions. Tonight we have five plates on the consent agenda under plats to be approved with conditions. We have a replat for the BD Bend edition. We have a replat for the Waffle House subdivision. We have a final plat for the town home at the ballpark. We have a replat at the 12 Oaks edition, and we have a replat of the landmarket Arlington edition. Do we have any speakers on this item? Seeing none, do I have a motion to approve the plats on the consent agenda platform to be approved with conditions? We have a motion to approve by Commissioner Sumter and a second by Commissioner Greer. Please cast your votes. And the motion passes unanimously. Eight uh with one abstention, and thank you very much. At this time, uh I've been made aware that we have a conflict of interest, so I'm gonna ask for the commissioner who has the conflict to please leave the room for just a moment. We're now going to consider an extension of a request submitted by the Platte applicant according to Texas Local Government Code Section 212.009, parentheses B-2. This is the final plat of the Arlington Business Center edition. Is my understanding, and I'm gonna make a point to get this into the record that there is a request for a 30-day extension. However, because of the law, we're going to this is going to come back in front of us for uh to be uh on the consent agenda again on October the 16th. Um do I have a motion to approve?
