And with that, good evening again, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Dr. Ignacio Nunez. I serve as chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Arlington. And I hereby call this regularly noticed meeting of the City of Arlington's Planning and Zoning Commission regular session to order for March 19th, 2025. Again, at this time, I will ask our administrator to read the speaker guidelines and general decorum for tonight's meeting. We ask that the citizens and other visitors in attendance assist in preserving the order and decorum of this meeting and to provide for attendance at and participation in the meeting without fear of intimidation, threats, or hostility. Any persons making personal, profane, hostile, slanderous, or threatening remarks who uses vulgar or obscene language, who engages in any other actions that disturb or are calculated to disturb the meeting, or who becomes disruptive while addressing the planning and zoning commissioners or while attending the planning and zoning meeting may be removed from the council chambers. All speakers shall address the commissioners and not the audience or city staff and shall not call out individually named members of city staff or the public. For speakers tonight, when your name is called, please come to the microphone at the podium and state your name and city of residence for the record. The applicant will be asked to speak first and will be given ten minutes to make a presentation. Speakers in support or opposition of the item will be given five minutes each to make their statements. If there are many speakers for an item, each speaker will be given three minutes to make their statements. Again, thank you very much. A copy of the minutes of our March 5th, 2025 regular session agenda meeting were sent to all the commissioners in advance. Were there any changes or corrections that were needed to the minutes? Seeing no uh no comment, do I have a motion to approve the minutes? Yeah, maybe not working. Oh, there it is. Came up. Okay. So I have a motion to approve by Commissioner Sumter and a second by Commissioner Blake. Please cast your vote. Motion passes 8-0. Next on the agenda, we have one notice of continuation. This is zoning case PD 24-25, roughly located at 1700 East Barden Road. Uh, this was an application for a zoning change from community commercial and office commercial to a PD or plan development for limited residential medium density RM12 uses with a development plan on approximately 6.29 acres. The applicant for this zoning case has requested a continuance to date specific May the 7th, 2025. Uh our planning and zoning commission meeting at that time. The continuance must be approved by the commission by a vote. At this time, I'll ask the commission for any questions, comments, or a motion. Seeing no comments or questions that we have a motion to approve by Commissioner Blake and a second by Commissioner Carter. Commissioner Blake, would you state your motion, please? I'd like to make a motion to approve the continuance for zoning case PD 24-25, 1700 East Barden Road, continued to May 7th, 2025. And Commissioner Carter is at your second. It is cast your votes. Motion passes A to nothing. There are no other zoning cases on our agenda tonight. Are there any reports from boards, commissions, or any liaisons? No, sir. Do we have any other reports from any from staff and any other announcements? No, sir. Okay. Our next meeting will be April the 2nd, I believe.
