Chairperson Ignacio Nunez called the meeting to order, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Commissioner Maddox. All nine commissioners were present: Chairperson Nunez, Commissioners Blake, Sumpter, Finley, Ware, Winkles, Greer, Carter, and Maddox. The meeting focused on approval of prior minutes and two plat items on the consent agenda, with no public speakers or contested items.\n\n### Consent Calendar\n- Minutes Approval: The minutes of the August 6, 2025, Plat Session were approved unanimously (9-0) on a motion by Commissioner Ware, seconded by Commissioner Winkles.\n- Replat – Larkin Barnes Addition (Item V.A): A replat of Lots 53A and 53B, zoned Planned Development (PD) and Community Commercial (CC), located north of Avenue J Street and east of Ballpark Way (2201 Avenue J Street). Approved with conditions.\n- Minor Plat – Stanca Addition (Item V.B): A minor plat for Lots 1-3, Block 1, zoned Residential Single-Family-7.2 (RS-7.2), located south of West Sublett Road and east of Park Springs Boulevard (3104 West Sublett Road). All right. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Dr. Ignacio Nunez. I serve as chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Arlington. I hereby call this regularly noticed meeting of the City of Arlington's Planning and Zoning Commission Platte Agenda for August 20th, 2025 into session. This time I'll ask Commissioner Maddox to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Please stand. And to the Republic for which it stands. Thank you, everyone. Copy of the minutes of our August 6th, 2025 plat agenda meeting were sent to all of the commissioners in advance. Were there any changes or corrections needed to these minutes? Seeing none, do I have a motion to approve the minutes? I do from Commissioner Ware, and I have a second from Commissioner Winkles. Please cast your vote. Motion passes unanimously. Next we have plats to be approved with conditions. Tonight we have two plats on the consent agenda under Plats to be approved with conditions. The first is a replat Larkin Barnes edition. The second is a minor platition. Do we have any speakers on this item? There being no speakers, do I have a motion to approve the plats on the consent agenda to be approved with conditions? I have a motion to approve by Commissioner Finley and a motion second by Commissioner Blake. Please cast your vote. Motion passes unanimously. There being no more business under the Plat agenda.
