The Planning and Zoning Commission of Arlington, Texas, convened its regularly scheduled Plat Agenda meeting on September 3, 2025, at 5:38 PM in the City Hall Council Chamber. The session included approval of prior minutes, a replat approved with conditions, and a preliminary plat that was disapproved. All votes were unanimous except one abstention.
Ladies and gentlemen, my apologies for uh we're a little late. We've had a robust discussion about some of the things on the agenda upstairs, and that's the reason for it. Uh so at this time I'm going to officially call the uh uh evening meeting of the planning and zoning commission of the city of Arlington, and this is the regularly noticed Planning and Zoning Commission Platte agenda for September the third, twenty twenty-five. We are now in session. I'm going to ask Commissioner Greer if he would lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Please stand. One nation under God individual with liberty and justice for all. Thank you very much. First item of business is approval of the minutes and a copy of the minutes of our August 20th, 2025 plat agenda were sent to all the commissioners in advance. If there were any change, I don't see any changes or corrections that were needed. Therefore, do I have a motion to approve? I do from Commissioner Blake, and I have a second from Commissioner Ware. Please cast your vote. Motion passes nine to nothing. We also have uh our first plat to be approved with conditions. Is a replat of the Hollow Creek Estates edition. Do I have a motion to approve this plat? I have a motion to approve by Commissioner Sumter and a second by Commissioner Winkle's cast your vote. Motion passes down to nothing. Next, we have a plat to be disapproved or denied. And that plat is a preliminary plat for the Atlantic Housing Edition. So we have a motion to uh approve the motion to disapprove this from Commissioner Blake and a second from Commissioner Greer. Cast your vote. Motion passes uh eight to nothing with one abstention. There being no further business listed on this plat agenda. I hereby adjourn the plat agenda meeting, and we'll now have a brief pause while we set up our computers for the regular session agenda.
