The Planning and Zoning Commission of Arlington, Texas, met on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the City Hall Council Chamber (101 W. Abram Street) for a regularly scheduled plat session. Chairperson Dr. Ignacio Nunez presided, with Commissioners Blake, Sumpter, Finley, Ware, Winkles, Greer, Carter, and Maddox present (all nine members). The meeting was open to the public. The commission approved the previous meeting's minutes and unanimously approved a consent agenda of three plats with conditions.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Dr. Ignacio Nunez, and I serve as chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Arlington. I hereby call this regularly noticed meeting of the City of Arlington's Planning and Zoning Commission Platte Agenda for February the 18th, 2026 in the session. At this time I'll ask our Commissioner Blake to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the United States of America. Thank you. Our first uh order of business is to approve the minutes of the February the fourth, twenty twenty-six P and Z Plat meeting. Do I have were there any corrections? And if there were none, do I have a motion to approve? I do from Commissioner Blake. And I have a second from Commissioner Ware. Please cast your vote. Motion passes. Nine to nothing. Thank you. We have no consent. We have no PLATS to be approved, but we do have plats to be approved with conditions. Tonight we have three of these plates with conditions. The first one is a preliminary platision substation edition. Second one is a minor plat, J M Thomas edition. And the third is a replat of the Tuscany Lakes edition. These were discussed upstairs during the planning zoning work session earlier today. Do I have a motion to approve? I do from Commissioner Sumter and a second from Commissioner Blake.
