Planning & Zoning Commission Regular Session – October 7, 2026

Thank you very much.

At this time, I'll ask our administrator to read the speaker guidelines and general decorum for tonight's meeting.

We ask that the citizens and other speakers in attendance assist in preserving the order and decorum of this meeting and to provide for attendance at and participation in the meeting without fear of intimidation, threats, or hostility.

Any person making personal profane, hostile, slanderous or threatening remarks who uses vulgar or obscene language, who engages in any other actions that disturb or are calculated to disturb the meeting, or who becomes disruptive while addressing the planning and zoning commissioners, or while attending the planning and zoning meeting, may be removed from the council chambers.

All speakers shall adjust the commissioners and not the audience or city staff and shall not call out individually named members of city staff or the public.

For speakers tonight, when your name is called, please come to the microphone at the podium and state your name and city of residence for the record.

The applicant will be asked to speak first and will be given ten minutes to make a presentation.

Speakers in support or opposition of the item will be given five minutes each to make their statements.

If there are many speakers for an item, each speaker will be given three minutes to make their statements.

We have one zoning case in the consent agenda under notice.

Actually, we have two, but we'll go into that in a minute.

First case for continuation is PD 29-09, addressed at approximately 2245 Carter Drive.

This is an application for approval

of

a planned development for residential multifamily 22 uses with a development plan on approximately 5.899 acres.

They're asking to be continued to October the 21st, 2026.

Now I'm going to change the order of the agenda for a moment.

If there is anyone here for PD 26-19 located at 1801 East Arkansas Lane, the applicant has requested a uh continuance.

Uh

and we're going to give that continuance to November the 18th.

So if you're here for that case, we apologize, but we're not going to be uh presenting that case tonight.

Uh we did discuss it at the work session, but it will be completely uh presented again and re-noticed, and all the information will come out on November the 18th.
