Yes, I'd like to call the meeting uh July 13th to order. Um we give you the pledge. No pledge um on the agenda for tonight. Thank you. Okay. Um and then we do roll call. Thank you. Councilmember Condi. Here councilmember Garcia. Here council member Solario. Here. Councilmember Weiss. Here. Councilmember White. President. Vice Mayor Nielsen. Here. And Mayor Paneda. Here. Thank you so much. And at this time, I believe we did have a member of the public who wish to speak. Yes, Mayor. We have Zachariah on the call. Zachariah, whenever you're ready. You can unmute. Good evening. My name is Zachariah Shazada. And I'm a resident of Aveno, Arizona. I'm here to uh because I would like to speak about Avno's use of flaw cameras. My first concern is accountability. There have uh been several and several cases in other states um where law enforcement has misused flaw cameras for personal reasons such as talking. Uh I I will acknowledge that these offices don't represent every single uh officer. Um but it shows that the system uh isn't perfect and we're relying on trust, which is something we shouldn't rely on. Um and finally, uh I would like uh evidence that flock him is absolutely reducing guy in Avenue, Arizona. I've um I've seen claims of Flock uh helping solve uh investigations, um but solving crimes after they happen isn't the same as preventing them, which is why I think we need better uh security and um more law enforcement. Uh if we're gonna like spend a tax payer money and collect information about every single person's movement um with vehicles, I think uh every single resident uh deserves a clear proof that it's making uh I've no fefa. Um and I believe that's it, and I would also like to make it clear I'm not against law enforcement. Uh thank you for your time. Thank you so much, Zachary, for um your comments. And I know that while we are on online and not um in city hall, or typically we would ask for a member of the organization to speak with the public. Um, is this a similar situation in which uh maybe chief can speak to Zachariah to um address some of the concerns? Yes, Mr. Mayor, this is uh uh Mr. Corbin.
