Welcome to the July Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.

And so just a couple of little announcements in advance for meeting participation.

This meeting will be broadcast live to Belmont residents on Comcast Cable Channel 27, streamed live via the city's website at Belmont.gov and stream live on Zoom.

The public may also attend the meeting in the city council chambers and address the commission from the chambers.

Yeah, one thing I wanted to mention was this week we had Mike Calge, the county uh the county executive come and visit the senior center to see what we're doing with uh in Belmont.

Specifically, the county has a big focus on uh loneliness as uh an issue and is putting money behind that, and uh I had asked him to come and see what we were doing because literally that's what we do is community.

So he joined us um yesterday and got a chance to meet our seniors.

That's great.
