Fire department and geotechnical reports (peer-reviewed in 2024) were addressed. The applicant (John Wagner and Emily Hugo) and architect (Jim Miller) spoke in favor, emphasizing family ties to Belmont and the design’s integration with the landscape.

Uh today is Tuesday, October first. Uh it is uh seven oh seven. We're gonna start the meeting. Um before we get into it, um I will kind of run through the options to participate in tonight's meeting. Uh one can um watch the meeting on Comcast Cable 27. The meeting is also being streamed live at the city's website at www.belmont dot gov. And the meeting is also streamed live on Zoom. Uh public comment is available uh via Zoom uh you utilizing the uh raised hand option. Of course, public comment can be made in chambers. We'd ask you to complete a speaker slip and submit that to our clerk before uh you comment. And um one can also send an email to the C dev at Belmont dot gov email address, and so long as that email is received before we complete the agenda item um that the comment is commenting commenting on, it will be read uh into the record.
