Bethel Park Council Regular Meeting - February 10, 2026

The Bethel Park Council held its regular meeting on February 10, 2026 (the meeting was called to order on February 9, 2026, but continued into February 10).   • Fire Chief Report: First Captain John Mark reported 90 calls in January (second highest month in fire company history), with an average of 11 personnel per call and 2.9 calls per day. Firefighter Don Rosie was elevated from probationary status; probationary firefighter Corey Gerber was welcomed. Heater and hydrant safety tips were provided.
  • Manager's Report: Ms. Denny announced that approximately 1,200 sewage bills have not yet been delivered due to a data update issue; those bills will be sent by the end of February with no late fees. The America 250 event was well-attended. Municipal offices closed Presidents Day. A senior assistance clinic on February 26 and a free job fair on April 9 were announced. An indoor market with county human services will be held on February 17.
  • Mayor's Report: Mayor Allen thanked Public Works for snowstorm response, reminded residents to clear sidewalks, and encouraged signing up for SWIFRE emergency alerts via www.bethelpark.gov.

    • A: Approved changes to splash park hours and rentals policy (Parks and Recreation Board recommendation) – passed 8-0.
