Kirker.

0:35

So the purpose of our meeting this evening is uh really just to be able to set a public hearing.

0:41

It's procedural.

0:42

And so we will take care of that in a moment.

0:45

But also for those of us who spent some of the years of the pandemic having remote meetings, you will remember this.

0:53

And for those who are newer to this, I just wanted to mention that because we are fully remote, all of our votes will need to be roll call votes.

1:01

So instead of voting by raising hand and saying aye together as we do in the chamber, I'll have Ms.

1:06

Kirker call the roll for any votes that we take in that will include the vote to adjourn the meeting as well.

1:13

So that will be different from how we normally do things when we're together in person.

1:18

So with that, we can go to unfinished business from a previous meeting.

1:23

And this is to set a public hearing for order 127.

1:29

And this was an order filed by Councilor Rotundo.

1:32

Councillor Retundo, I don't know if there's anything you wanted to be able to say at this point about the order or the process.

1:39

Madam President, just one thing.

1:43

Taking it out of schedule to come to this special meeting for tonight because it is a new process and to try to get this done in a timely fashion to really have a meaningful recognition of this person.

1:55

And really it speaks volume to the um resolutions we've put on, you know, the words on paper, but taking these words and putting them into action.

2:03

So I do want to recognize everyone and thank you all so much for taking this and making time to uh get this public hearing moving.

2:11

So thank you.

2:13

Thank you very much, counselor, and thank you for getting um the whole process started by filing this order.

2:18

So counselors, I would entertain a motion to set the public hearing for order 127 for our June 1st meeting at 7 30 p.m.

2:28
