Well, in a different form, uh, to present the budget and the levy for the South Brighton General Improvement District.

4:14

First, just a little bit of background for those of you who might not know what a general improvement district or GID is and the history of the South Brighton General Improvement District.

4:24

A GID is really a financing mechanism that allows the city to work with property owners in an area so they can help finance infrastructure improvements in order to also facilitate development.

4:35

These often include things like road improvements or utilities infrastructure improvements in that area.

4:41

Really the basic concept is that the develop the developments or areas involved in that GID are the ones who benefit from these improvements.
