Uh it's my pleasure to uh present Rihanna Collins, currently the co-chair of the legacy foundation, uh, to come up and and uh start everything if you would have to be a little bit more than a little bit.

I'm one of the co-chairs on Brighton Legacy Foundation, and tonight we've come to honor a truly remarkable individual, Janon Swink, who has dedicated twenty years of service to our foundation.

Few people can say they've volunteered for the same local nonprofit for that amount of time.

But Janon's unwavering commitment and dedication to this community speaks volumes about her character and passion.

Janon's journey with the Brighton Legacy Foundation began in 2002.

And from the start, her contributions were invaluable.

She served in many capacities over the years, but perhaps most notably as the treasurer, where she meticulously ensured that the foundation's finances were secure and efficiently managed.

Her attention to detail and tireless work helped the foundation continue its important mission.

When asked about her time with the foundation, Janon shared that one of the highlights was working with all of the incredible nonprofit organizations the foundation supports, and of course, making lifelong friendships along the way.

Janon's favorite event, the history haunted downtown Brighton tour stands as a testament to the fun and creativity she brought to every project she touched.

Though Janan has retired from the foundation, she remains deeply involved in the community, volunteering with her church, United Methodist Church of Brighton.

Her legacy is one of service, generosity, and an enduring commitment to make Brighton a better place for all of us.
