Commissioner Healy. I just wanted to make sure the primary goal is to create a safer and cleaner environment for all residents, allowing them to utilize parks and public spaces without fear or discomfort. While this ordinance aims to regulate camping, it is not intended to criminalize homelessness. The goal is to address specific issues like safety and hazards, sanitation concerns, and the impact on public spaces caused by uncontrolled camping. And I just wanted to be clear on that.
