Um, I'm gonna call the finance and budget committee meeting to order for Wednesday, August fifth, twenty twenty six.

Um tonight we will go over the expenditure list.

Um we will start with how about you, Commissioner Boyle.

I have a question on page number seventy two.

Um claims.

Umiability assessment, comprehensive insurance.

Um insurance premium for one point one.

So just a big claim.

So that's our pay that our insurance.

Uh Commissioner O'Neill, um, that is the uh majority of the liability insurance for Beauty Silver Bow for fiscal year twenty twenty-seven.

The total claim is for one point four million.

That is the portion that is under the comp insurance claim fund.

The enterprise funds, so water, metro, um storm water, and landfill also pay uh a portion based on the wages that are paid to the employees.

So the uh the total amount of our liability insurance to MMI is one point four million.

Then the only other thing on here this evening is JP Gallagher, Chief Executive is calling for a special meeting of the Beats World Council of Commissioners for Monday, June 29th, 2026 at 530 p.m.

in the council chambers room 312 for a presentation from Karen Hassler, Finance and Budget Director on the preliminary budget for fiscal year 2026-2027.

Council will then vote to move it to finance and budget committee for further review.

I think we can take this off.

I thought we did take it off, but um yeah we I thought we did, yeah, but um nonetheless if somebody just wants to I'll make a motion that we uh place there is in a communication.

That's right, that we place um this request for a special meeting uh on file.
