Meeting Transcript
All right, I'm gonna call the finance and budget committee meeting to order for Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. This evening we will go over the expenditure list. Um we will start with you, Commissioner Walker. Do you have any questions? No, I do not. Um Commissioner Boyle? Commissioner Shea. Commissioner O'Neill. Thank you, madam chair. I have a question on the detention the meals for the inmates. Um seven two eight. I guess my qu I mean, this is monthly, right? I mean, I'm not complaining about the price. Where do the meals come from? Actually, know that I think. It doesn't come from CCCS anymore, right? Oh, they still do. See, I'm glad I asked. So do we have a contract with them or is it perfectly already answered this question before I forgot? But I just wanted to ask you a question. I'm gonna learn I'm gonna be excited that our inmates are getting fed tonight. And oh yeah, oh my god. Let the record show that it is seventy-nine thousand sixty-nine dollars, but how over however it's only six dollars and fifty cents is the cost for lunch and dinner and breakfast is five fifty. So I don't think we can get a better deal than that. So thank you. I'm glad I asked that question. I appreciate it. Gotcha. No, that's great. Awesome. Thank you. Anything else, Commissioner O'Neill? Okay. Um if there are no other questions, Director Hasler, did you um see anything of note? All right. Perfect. Um, if there are no other questions, I would entertain a motion. This time I have to entertain a motion that we reviewed and approved the expenditure list as of Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. The amount of four hundred and eighty thousand nine hundred and seventy-four dollars and nineteen cents. Motion's been made and seconded to approve the expenditure list for uh Wednesday, September 9th. Uh is there anything on the question? All those in favor? Aye, against motion passes five to zero. Let the record show that Commissioner O'Leary is absent and excused this evening. Leaving present Commissioner Thatcher, Commissioner O'Neill, Commissioner Shea, Commissioner Boyle, Commissioner Walker. Um if there is nothing else, I would entertain a motion to adjourn.
