• Financial Report – Holt presented the budget. She noted that for the general fund budget for fiscal year 2027, she moved money from line items that are typically under budget to the book budget to meet the state's match requirement for collection development funding. She can also transfer funds mid-year via journal entries, but her primary focus is on not exceeding the total bottom line. The library is at 57% of its general fund budget used; Holt stated there is plenty of money left to finish the fiscal year.
• Director's Report – Holt provided updates on: staffing (senior library assistant tentatively filled; administrative clerk position filled internally by a shelver, Judy Roberts; shelving position posted), the library's 60th anniversary, the revived "Ex Libris" newsletter, an upcoming equinox presentation and telescope demonstration with WNC, and the unveiling of the Phil and Phyllis Patton Community Room (plaque hung, signage being updated).
