Can you look at 4A for me?

0:44

Yes.

0:46

Are we just changing the liquor manager or changing the type of liquor license?

0:51

To approve a change of liquor manager to the combo liquor license.

0:55

It's a complementary license.

0:57

Oh, I see what's okay.

0:58

I understand.

1:00

Gotcha.

1:01

1:33

And Natalie, are there any changes to the staff report?

1:36

There are no things.

1:38

Okay, Mr.

1:39

Baget, did you have a chance to review the staff report?

1:41

Do you have any questions?

1:43

No.

1:43

But you've reviewed it.

1:45

So yes, you've reviewed it.

1:47

Yes.

1:47

Now you have any questions.

1:49

Perfect.

1:50

The conditions of approval are okay with the ends?

1:53

Yes.

1:53

How's business?

1:55

Good.

1:55

We're very busy.

1:57

And do people buy alcohol there?

1:59

They don't.

2:00

So we have an evening social three days a week.

2:02

Oh.

2:03

And we offer on tap beer and wine.

2:05

Gotcha.

2:06

Three hour and a half.

2:07

Any good any good stuff?

2:08

You got one place right here.

2:12

Yeah, no, unfortunately, it's a brand standard of IHG hotel.

2:18

Oh, you have to have a what they have.

2:21

Gotcha.

2:22

Keep it standardized.

2:24

Understood.

2:25

Okay, I'm going to call on the sheriff's office to make some comments.

2:30

And the comments he makes are applicable to all three of you.

2:33

So he's going to make them once so that he doesn't have to repeat the same thing over and over again.

2:37

So if everyone listens and then we'll just reference it for each of the other items.

2:42

Right.

2:42

We met in person at your location.

2:46

It's the same conversation I had on behalf of the sheriff, who's a part of all the liquor license.

2:52

You guys have submitted backgrounds and all that other stuff through the sheriff's office.

2:56

The sheriff takes very serious selling liquor or miners getting their hands on any alcohol.

3:03

We do conduct operations.

3:06

We recently did one and then uh did not go well for multiple businesses.

3:11

So we will issue a criminal citation to whoever served or uh sold the alcohol, and then the city comes along in the back end for a civil uh civil side of it as well.

3:25

So when we teach our server trainings, we want to work with you guys.

3:32

Any questions, feel free to reach out to us.

3:34

Okay, that's like so great.

3:38

So yeah, major takeaway, do not serve minors.

3:42

Card everybody and do the server training, which is now right by our sheriff's office.

3:47

We're super excited about that.

3:49

Um, okay, good.

3:50

So is there any public comment on this application?

3:54

Seeing none, I will approve the application to change the liquor manager to Benjamin Baguette for the Combo Liquor License for Retail Court Hotel LLC doing business as Stay Bridge Suites Carson City at 972 retail court.

4:10

Carson City subject to the conditions of approval for the staff report.

4:15

Um before I call on 4B, I'll just mention to all three of you.

4:19

This meeting goes fairly quickly, but you probably didn't get here really fast.

4:25

And the reason the meeting can go quickly is because we've done the lab work before this meeting happened to make sure that we could get to yes on these things.

4:36

So I don't want any of you to think that we take this lightly because we don't, but I also am not going to waste your time by drawing out the meeting.

4:43

Okay.

4:44

So I'll go to 4B.

4:47

4B is for possible action, discussion, possible action regarding application for a dining room with beaver wine liquor license, liquor 010186-2026 with Menpreets.

6:06

Yeah, we opened this morning actually.

6:10

What did I say?

6:13

So what caused you to pick Carson?

6:15

Um, well, when I moved to Reno, I drove by Carson to go to Lake Tahoe, and I just I think I like the environment.

6:22

People are very nice here.

6:23

Yeah.

6:24

Well, from raised in Stockton, California, so people aren't that nice over there.

6:32

So when I came here, I just like the whole community.

6:35

Like everyone knows each other.

6:36

I know.

6:37

Yeah, it's it's amazing, but you wanted to go drop off uh pizzas at the bar in our plaza.

6:42

And everyone else, everyone is buying a shots, they're so happy.

6:46

It's just like it's like everyone knows each other.

6:48

It's a small community.

6:49

It's very small, so be careful.

6:51

They all know each other, as Max.

6:54

All right, well, we're glad you'd came down from Reno to be part of our business community.

7:00

So, and I'm glad to hear you got a big crowd this morning.

7:03

They were paying customers, right?

7:04

Yeah.

7:05

Okay, just make sure.

7:06

No free pizza.

7:07

Everybody pays.

7:09

Um, is there any public comment on this application?

7:13

Seeing no public comment, I'm going to approve the application for a dining room with beer wine liquor license with man preet, right?

7:22

As the liquor manager for pre-beer pizza inc.

7:26

Doing business as Mountain Mike's Pizza, located at 3817 South Carson Street, number two in Carson City, Nevada, 89701, subject to the conditions of approval in the staff report.

7:38

Okay, I'm going on to item 4C.

7:41

Um for possible action, discussion of possible action regarding an application to add liquor catering to an existing liquor license, liquor 007728-2023, with Jessica Brooks as the liquor manager for Mayor Family Wine LLC doing business as cellar 8, wine bar, located at 408 North Carson Street in Carson City, Nevada, 89701.

8:06

Natalie, are there any changes to the staff report?

8:09

8:10

Okay.

8:11

8:15

No.

8:16

8:21

So Max, do you want to state your name for the record?

8:23

Maxine Holland.

8:24

Thank you.

8:25

8:27

I have indeed.

8:28

And are you good with it?

8:29

Yes, I am.

8:30

And what's this mean that you're going to do catering?

8:32

You're taking the show on the road.

8:34

Well, we are getting a lot of requests from mainly nonprofits to host like an on-site bar to raise funds.

8:44

And that was that's kind of what heads us up.

8:47

WC has asked me for quite a few events.

8:50

And about a museums asked me, um, but even the Carson Pharma's market.

8:54

So a lot of it would be event-based for fundraising.

8:59

But I figured all encompassing we would offer then on-site bartending for like weddings and things like that.

9:04

And potentially um backyard private parties doing like a private wine tasting at somebody's home if they wanted to do something like that.

9:13

So I this is where it's starting.

9:16

I'm not sure how it's gonna evolve, but that's kind of what we're hoping to do.

9:19

Yeah, but I see one of your fans in the I've never seen that.

9:23

I've never seen this now before in my life.

9:29

Alright, is there any public comment on this application?

9:33

I'm excited that you're expanding.

9:35

So that's great news.

9:37

Okay, so I'm gonna approve this application to add liquor catering to an existing liquor license with Jessica Brooks continuing as liquor manager.

9:45

Her mayor family wine LLC doing business as cellar eight wine bar located at 408 North Carson Street, number two.

9:53

Um person saying Nevada 89701, subject to the conditions of approval in the staff report.

9:59

Um let's see, where are we?

10:02

Is there any closing public comment?

10:06

Seeing none, this meeting's adjourned.

10:08

Thank you all for the
