13:55

Can we can we hear from legal why we've got two on hold from legal?

13:59

Clarification on what's going on with number two and one with legal holders.

14:04

Those are not assigned to me.

14:05

Oh, those are um Harold Um was looking at those and she's an ALJ uh proceeding today.

14:14

And I have not I don't hold on, let me see.

14:21

I can see if there are any notes left on the portal by her.

14:33

So in other words, if those don't hold with legal, then those will go to regulatory outdoors, then if everything is worked out, let me look.

14:46

And for that one in particular, it it just became accurate seven days ago.

14:52

Okay, so that okay.

14:58

So I don't see any notes from her.

15:01

Um about this, so I could just get with her and see okay what the hold up is.

15:13

Any further questions?

15:15

Okay, okay.

15:18

Uh we have on beer applications passed from the last meeting.

15:22

Um Chi Chi Chard Chicken LLC doing business as Chich and Mexicville restaurants, those should not have been placed on the agenda today, but we will be discussing those at the end of the meeting.

15:38

So we'll just go ahead and uh not take there's no action to be taken on that at this time.

15:47

New beer applications, Miss Bertha representing nine brothers collect Ali Alcadri is to make an application for a carry-out beer permit for 101 West 38th Street.

16:06

The location is owned by Mohammed Fali.

16:10

And I don't have a zoning on it.

16:14

I'm sorry, what did you say, Bertha?

16:16

I do not have zoning on it.

16:17

No zone.

16:17

It's held up by zoning.

16:19

Excuse me.

16:20

Bless you.

16:25

Is there anyone here representing this?

16:27

Yes.

16:28

Uh okay.

16:29

16:47

Do you saw Miss Mara or the testimony you're about to give will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth to help you guys?

16:52

Yes.

16:53

And what is your name?

16:54

Kale del Khaji.

16:58

Okay.

17:00

Um Zach, are you uh looking this up?

17:06

I'm sorry, sir.

17:07

I'm talking to it right here.

17:09

I am looking it up.

17:10

Uh I don't see where I have anything on hold right now.

17:15

See where zoning has it signed up on it.

17:17

What is the uh number?

17:21

Beer 142.

17:44

Okay, it's not on hold.

17:45

I just haven't gotten to it yet.

17:47

It uh only activated six days ago.

17:52

Okay, okay.

17:54

So um all right.

18:01

So Mr.

18:02

Cleed, it's not ready yet.

18:04

The zoning still has to approve it, and they're in the process of approving it.

18:09

And then once they do that, if it meets if you meet all the other requirements, then it will automatically be approved through the registration system that you signed up to get this for.

18:21

So we're we're just uh they're almost there.

18:25

Okay.

18:25

Is there any do any of the board members have any questions of the application?

18:28

I'm on the queue.

18:29

Yes, ma'am.

18:30

Is this a new application?

18:32

New permits.

18:33

It's is new.

18:34

I mean, the business is not new, but we forget to renew and we're when it comes like in February 3rd or February 5th.

18:42

They said it's too late.

18:43

We have to do new publication.

18:46

Okay.

18:46

Because I know you've been in business for quite a while.

18:48

So I was wondering.

18:49

Yes, okay.

18:50

So it's the 17th.

18:51

Okay, very good.

18:52

All right.

18:52

Any other questions?

18:54

All right, that's great.

18:55

All right, so that uh keep watch the computer and it'll should tell you.

19:00

I have one question.

19:01

Um your permit expired.

19:04

Is that what you're saying?

19:07

Yes, yes, your existing permit expired.

19:09

Yes, and then have you ceased to sell beer for six months?

19:12

No, sir.

19:13

Okay, so you've continued selling beer.

19:15

No, we know it's all the new beer, it's shut down completely.

19:18

But no, uh, I'm trying to wait until I got in my permit.

19:23

Understood.

19:23

My question is have you stopped selling beer for six months?

19:28

Yes.

19:29

Okay, thank you.

19:31

Very good.

19:32

All right.

19:33

Okay, thank you very much.

19:42

Or does we go?

19:45

Yeah, you're good.

19:46

Okay, thank you.

19:50

That's a little bit next applicant, baby Hughes L L Cue Harris is making application for summer beer permit or 8 to 10 access by a location is owned by Adamson with balance.

20:01

A location is on by Adamson with balance.

20:06

And there's I don't have a zombie on that.

20:11

One here representing this applicant.

20:16

Okay.

20:17

If not, is there a motion to pass it to the next meeting?

20:19

Well, go ahead.

20:20

Um, just point of information.

20:22

There's a um it's zoning building in legal.

20:26

This just got active in the portal, so I hadn't had a chance to look at it.

20:30

Okay.

20:30

But there's a note on building saying that it failed inspection, waiting on corrections for reinspection.

20:38

And that note was put in last night.

20:42

Um so there may be some issues with this.

20:46

So I would suggest passing it to the next meeting.

20:53

Okay.

20:54

All right, is there a motion to pass it to the next meeting?

20:58

What's that next meeting date?

21:01

It's like July 2nd, I think.

21:05

Yes.

21:06

July 2nd.

21:07

July the night.

21:08

Uh July the second.

21:09

July 2nd.

21:11

The second.

21:13

All right.

21:14

Is there a motion to pass it to the next to the July 2nd meeting?

21:17

Yes, I'll make a motion to pass to the next meeting.

21:20

Motion is second.

21:21

Second.

21:22

Uh discussion.

21:24

Yes.

21:24

Yes, ma'am.

21:25

I'd like the question.

21:26

Why do we have four so far?

21:28

Four items on the agenda.

21:30

That's from what I'm hearing, only been on six, seven days that weren't even approved.

21:37

How did it make it to the agenda if they weren't even approved by zoning legal everything?

21:45

Well, if they um I think if they apply in a certain amount of time, they get put on the agenda.

21:55

So is that correct, Bertha?

21:59

A or B there on the agenda.

22:01

Okay.

22:01

Because they have to appear before the board, because I don't know if this have questions for them.

22:06

Okay.

22:07

But regulatory completed their got it.

22:13

Okay.

22:15

Good question.

22:16

Any other questions?

22:18

All in favor of passing it to the uh July 2nd meeting.

22:21

Signify by saying aye.

22:23

Opposed.

22:24

All right.

22:25

None opposed.

22:29

Okay.

22:31

We might set a new record today.

22:33

Well we'll see.

22:39

We'll see.

22:40

Okay, we come to the discussion section of our meeting.

22:45

And uh the discussion is on the previous beer violation report and recommendations of hearing officer Rachel Hodges recommended and fine at 1,000 each for each location for Mexico Hill Mexican restaurant doing business as Maxaville North Shore.

23:03

Uh Mexiville Mexican Restaurant 809 Market Street and Chi Cheese Charred Chicken doing business as Chi Chi's 811 Market Street.

23:15

As you know, based on this is a carry forward uh to from our last meeting and um as we know based on everything that we've developed since all this started.

23:33

Uh uh we need to take action whether we're going to uh affirm this or whether we're gonna have a motion uh to rescind this because of the state law uh that uh we that we've learned about and are and have been dealing with so I'll open the floor for discussion or a motion.

23:59

I will make a motion to rescind the fines and dismiss these fines.

24:04

So we have a motion to rescind and dismiss.

24:07

Second there's second, all right.

24:09

Now discussion to that motion.

24:12

All right, very good.

24:13

I'm gonna call the roll.

24:16

Uh Christie.

24:19

Yes, Brooke?

24:22

Yes, Veronica?

24:23

Yes, Jean?

24:25

Yes, Reginald, yes, Betsy, yes, and the chair votes yes.

24:31

So that concludes this whole episode.

24:35

Right.

24:35

I will um prepare an order that rescinds that so that the record can be clear that that um well you will I need to sign that and send it back to you.

24:47

I'll do that then.

24:48

All right.

24:49

Uh any discussion that any board members wish to bring to the board general discussion.

24:57

Wait, Dan.

24:58

Oh, I'm sorry.

25:00

votes yes so that concludes this whole episode right i will um prepare an order that rescinds that so that the record can be clear that that um well you will i need to sign that and send it back to you okay i'll do that then all right uh all right any discussion that any board members wish to bring to the board general discussion wait dan oh i'm sorry we passed chee cheese chart chicken in mexiville to the end of the meeting for their application right so please no they were no we didn't pass them we they they they should not have been on the agenda in that spot to begin with that was a clerical error that is that those should have not been on that those should all at all okay gotcha and under pass from last meeting because I think they've already been approved right yeah okay right yeah that was just that yes ma'am so is Zach and JW officially off of the billboard now okay yeah his term expired I'm sorry I can't remember it was after the first um after the first meeting this month right expired for JW for JW and Zach moved out of his district right okay so what district is both of them JW and Zach I think JW is two and Zach is nine I think so is that right I'm not sure what district they're from very honestly I don't know I know JW's from two yeah he's from two something Zach has moved out of his district so uh said he had a word conflict though so I don't know if uh he'll probably continue to serve until someone replaces him so process of elimination you can figure out which district does that represent I'm nine can we stick I just want to know what district they're in five I'm uh I'm six seven eight I don't know JW is it on this test four or five four I don't know what I'm saying five so you can be five so maybe you're for number one reason you're probably for hell one doing because I was gonna ask at some point can we not put this on our things because people have asked me that before which district do people represent and I don't know that'd be good that would be yeah can it be I'm requesting that it be added to our name yeah so it shows when people from district yeah you know two right there okay that'd be great good idea what I don't know about last year we will need a vice chair for the interim and on another point the last elections that we had were June 6 2024 so we need elections right um that was right before I started but I would like to be better to have a full yeah I would like to have a full thing before we do that um but I think it is important that we have a vice chair in the interim just in case I'm not available right because then we would have to do the thing where we would we would have to vote for a chair like for that particular meeting.

28:17

Right so um is that agreeable with the board that let's once we get a full membership and the history tells us that might take a while uh but once we get a full membership then we will have election for new officers at that time because I thought it was yeah I figured it was time yeah I thought I thought you know it was it was in the summer when we did this yeah and then uh uh and then we uh I would the chair would entertain a motion to put a what you call them a temporary vice chairman or just vice chairman yeah vice chairman uh any nomin uh to for nominations for a vice chairman of the board would need one do we do that publicly right now yes or is okay yeah yeah I'll nominate Christy as I hear person okay good did I say chairman I'm sorry I apologize I second that that's what I was gonna all right all right so are there any other nominations if not all in favor of everyone uh um uh christie morris uh being uh nominated as vice chairman of the vice chairperson of the choose a one chair my 73 year old is kicking in I apologize uh uh signify by saying aye opposed that's great very good thank you Christy I know you didn't get a chance to say no we don't want to do it but that's okay that's the way that sounds like our ball association does is there anyone that is here with a public comment today if not welcome again uh officer sampson we're glad to have you on board thank you and uh if not is there a motion to adjourn make a motion to adjourn all for adjourning signify by saying aye aye opposed

30:00

That's the way that sounds like our association does.

30:05

Is there anyone that is here with a public comment today?

30:12

If not, welcome again.

30:15

Uh Officer Sampson.

30:17

We're glad to have you on board.

30:19

Thank you.

30:20

And uh if not, is there a motion to adjourn?

30:23

Make a motion to adjourn.

30:26

Adjourning, signify by saying aye.

30:28

Aye.

30:29

Opposed.

30:30

Thank you.

30:33

Barthela did I do okay.

30:35
