The Health Education Housing Facilities Board met on July 20, 2026, to address officer elections, minutes approval, multiple housing and economic development resolutions, and reports on legal matters. The board approved assignments, bond inducements, and funding agreements for affordable housing and eviction prevention.

Um call the July meeting of the health education housing facilities boards. Staff confirm we have been advertised and can count enough to get a quorum, so we're good. Election of officers. You're the vice chair, right? I'm vice chair. He's vice chair. Who's vice chair? Richard. That's what I thought. Okay. And are you are you secretary? No. Okay. Okay. Floor is open for nominations for one, two, three, or all. So whatever you feel compelled to suggest, we'll go with Mr. Chairman. I would suggest just for the sake of consistency that the three board members that are currently serving continue for at least another year, in as much as we we've gotten a lot of um a lot of important matters, and we have some relatively new folks on the board as well. Let me ask you this. Is there anybody who is not an officer who would like to be one? I couldn't give that one away for you. You didn't ask for the reversal. I think that you should ask for for compensation next. Okay. So uh you want to put that in form of a motion. Yeah. I might move that the current officers remain in place for another year. Second the motion. Okay, we have a motion and second discussion. Only thing I would add is I think that is a learning curve, but I do think that some rotation might be good. So don't be ashamed or uh reluctant to pay attention and step up as you do real well. I think it would be good to alternate, and those of us who have been here longer are happy to mentor at times. So I just think it'd be good to spread the wealth. I'm happy to give it up too. Okay. The double pay helps. Yes, yeah. I haven't found the first time we pays, but it's all right.
