I'm our um the vice president of stadium operations for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Um, and I think it was fun.

We were reminiscing this morning.

These meetings um for some of us have been eight years going.

So um just been a part of it from day one, and just again excited that we get to all come together today.

I'm sorry I'm not present.

But my name is Monica Ford, president of M3 Strategies, as well as superintendent at Rainbow Dreams Early Learning Education and Community Advocate.

I've also been a part of this wonderful group since inception.

So proud to be here today.

Um at this time, um, we're gonna open up um the floor uh for public comment.

Yep.

Uh Vince Kristasik, president, Southern Nevada Officials Association.

Uh SNOA for short.

What we do is we supply, which you know as well, and you know some of our referees.

Uh, we supply all of the high school, middle school youth referees for Southern Nevada.

We got about 1,200 people to work for us.

So, what I do want to speak on briefly is the what the Raiders have done specifically for SNOA.

Uh Commissioner Weekly, you know what we're doing with College of Southern Nevada.

We hold over all we hold our training meetings, which is 17 a year.

Uh, we also have a recruiting coordinator working out of CSN trying to help us recruit officials coming out of pandemic.

We did not have enough officials.

It was over all over the local news to supply officials to play the games.

Right?

School district was canceling games, youth leagues were canceling games, youth leagues were not coming to play in Vegas.

We didn't have enough officials.

So we partnered with College of Southern Nevada uh to have a recruitment uh uh training program and recruitment for officials.

Our numbers have gone from 650 three years ago to about 1,200 officials.

So we doubled our officials.

We're not canceling games.

We got more than enough tournaments and work for everybody coming to Las Vegas.

What the Raiders have done is they gave us a grant to use with CSN about two years ago, and I think it was roughly around $25,000 that goes towards CSN that helps us pay for the rental and the recruiting program.

Okay.

Second thing, second thing the Raiders do is they take uh they take one game at the end of the season.

They invite 21 local high school football officials to the um Las Vegas, Reno, northeast part of the state, bring them to the game uh with their guest, and they honor them for what they do for high school athletics here in Vegas.

Last but not least, uh SNOA, our leadership, which is our board of directors.

We have some um uh conferences around the country we can attend.

We're a little bit limited on resources and funding on what we can do.

Really, our funding comes for the Clark County School District and some of our officials.

We went to the Raiders last year.

They provided scholarships for our leadership, which is seven uh people in SNAW to go to Montgomery, Alabama to do the continued education program for a week, which helps us run our association.

Okay, so like I said, we got a good partnership with everybody from the Raiders, and I appreciate everything they do for officiating.

Like I said, without officials, there's no high school or middle school sports in Las Vegas.

Thank you.

And we do want to thank the Raiders as well for stepping up and really helping to bring this to fruition.

Uh, there were some folks who uh came to the table with us who saw the need uh to uh to bring on more uh referees um because it was really hurting um our youth sports here in southern Nevada.

Well, state of Nevada for that matter, and but thank you and your team for the leadership because we have seen a significant difference now.

I went you said weekly you you you know the referees too well, and I I think you were calling me out because I almost got I think I almost got put out of only two games last year.

Um just yelling.

Yeah, Robert, I think I was at one of them.

Yeah, yeah, right.

Yeah, just yelling at the referees.

But uh, I'm so excited about what's happening, and I I'm always saluting our referees and thanking them um for listening to crazy parents like me in the stands.

But the lady behind you, I want to thank her as well because she was then with CSN at the time, and she helped lead that charge for us.

And uh we're so very happy to have Yvonne Wade um here in Southern Nevada doing what she does.

And besides Raiders, like I said, I do want to thank CSN because without their facilities and recruitment people helping us out, we would not have the number of officials we have right now.

So he's no longer with us, but I can tell you that this charge all began with former mayor Carolyn Goodman and former president Frederico Saragosa.

Carolyn Goodman was just livid behind us a call at an NFL game.

And we don't know how we got all the way down to high school, but at any rate, she says we need more officials.

And the ball got to rolling and they put us on the assignment, and thank you so much.

It it's come to fruition.

And thank you for the opportunity to speak.

Again, my name is Yvonne Wade, and I have the pleasure of leading Nevada State University in this inaugural year of athletics.

Um, and previous to that, I was at CSN as their athletic director.

And so, in that relationship with Southern Nevada Officials Associated, the Mayor Goodman's uh brainchild of needing more officials.

They've done a wonderful job supporting uh the local community.

Um, I want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank the Las Vegas Raiders organization for their meaningful partnership with NSU Athletics and for being a proud member of the starting lineup, which is our initial fundraising arm to help us grow this athletic department.

We began building NSU Athletics from the ground up, and our vision was not only to create competitive programs, but to do so in a way that deeply rooted in the community, opportunity, and access for local student athletes.

The Raiders have embodied that vision from day one.

Flag football is one of the fastest growing sports in collegiate landscape across the country.

And Nevada State University is proud to have launched its first collegiate women's flag football program in the state of Nevada.

That milestone would have not been possible without the leadership and support of the Raiders organization, who have consistently invested in the growth of the game and the development of young athletes throughout Southern Nevada.

This past fall, the Raiders invited our team to participate at the Atlantic Stadium in the Raiders versus prior to the Raiders versus Jacksonville Jaguars in a showcase.

It was an opportunity for our student athletes to go out in this beautiful stadium to have opportunity to showcase their skill and make a place, you know, in Southern Nevada as our student athletes.

It was a moment that affirmed to them that they belonged in their sport and that their sport mattered.

The Raiders have continued that support by graciously allowing us to kick up our inaugural game on February 20th 20th at their practice facilities.

And we'll be hosting three or four game series there.

Um hosting it in our for the first home competition in such a world-class environment will bring an incredible sense of pride to our Scorpions, to our community, and further elevate women's flag football in our region.

So on behalf of Nevada State Athletics, myself, the student athletes and our campus community, we want to express how thankful we are to the Raiders organization and all that they do for this community, the youth, and our student athletes.

Um I am proud to tell you a little bit about the partnership between the Clark County School District and the Las Vegas Raiders organization.

Um this partnership truly exemplifies what it means when a world-class organization invests meaningfully in its community.

Uh, this collaboration goes far beyond athletics.

Uh, while sports can be a powerful connector, what makes this partnership special is his deep commitment to students and educators as whole people.

Uh, through this work, we've seen intentional support for our at-risk students for our clubs and activities that build belonging, and for educators and staff who show up every day to serve our kids.

Uh, I want to take a moment to specifically recognize Piper Overstreet White and her entire team.

Uh, their leadership and consistent support have made a real difference, and they've been unwavering advocates for initiatives that touch every corner of our district.

Things like teacher and staff appreciation, student engagement, and partnerships that address some of the most critical challenges our students face today.

Uh, together we're tackling issues like student mental health, literacy development, chronic absenteism, and overall student well-being.

These are not easy challenges, but they're the right ones to take on.

And the Raiders Organization has stepped up in meaningful ways to be part of the solutions.

This partnership reflects what is possible when education community and professional organizations align around a share goal, ensuring every student has the support, opportunity, and encouragement they need to succeed.

Um, my name is Evelyn Pacheco, and I am the first black woman to get a plumber's license in the state of Nevada.

And I am the first black woman to get a plumber's license in the state of Nevada.

I am also the first woman, first black woman to make commander of American Legion Post 51.

I am the president and the owner of Nevada Women in Trades, and we prepare women in the state of Nevada for successful careers and high skilled blue card trades.

And we've had six graduations.

We currently have women that are journeying out of the IBW, the carpenters.

We have three women that are in 525.

We have women that are in CDL, veterans that have gotten positions and with CDLs too.

So I just want to say again, thank you for letting me speak.

And please help Nevada women in trades to make sure that women in the community can be able to be able to make 100,000 a year.

Um, you know, again, it's such an honor to um serve on this committee to see all the work that have uh taken place over this last year um out at Allegiant Stadium have been just absolutely extraordinary.

Um, I came to um one of our stadium authority board meetings, and I don't know if I was venting.

Um I just had a concern that the football game I was at was just so good, and I had to go to the men's room, and the line was just so long, and um I just didn't understand why there weren't more accommodations for the men, and the Raiders were listening.

And now we have more accommodations for men at uh Leisia Stadium.

And I want to thank um Mr.

Davis and um Sandra Douglas Morgan and the entire team.

Piper, thank you and your team for listening.

Uh, we're feeling a lot better about ourselves um as we go to the men's room, and we want to thank you all for that.

But um, yeah, that was one of my greatest moments uh this past year uh with the Legion Stadium.

Um board members, you all have any comments or any thoughts you want to share in reference to the Raiders, uh Allegiance Stadium, um, anything that's going on this past year.

Yeah, I would just say uh first of all, what an incredible year.

Um not only when you look back and you think about Las Vegas before the Raiders and after the Raiders came, it is undeniable how much this community has improved uh in terms of other teams coming here, the tourism, but let's take it to the community.

A lot of things were said when uh, you know, the Raiders went down this journey of uh, you know, getting some help for a stadium and you know, all the things that went into that.

A lot of promises made.

And those of us who've been here a long time and been involved in politics in Carson City, you know, we've heard a lot of promises uh over the years, a whole lot of them.

Uh what I can say is I'm I get goosebumps.

I'm so proud that I knew this felt different, and now I'm proven I am absolutely proven that my instincts were correct.

The Raiders have superseded all expectations.

This community is so much better because the Raiders are here.

That's because that stadium is here.

Um they've they've not only have fulfilled every promise they said, but they've exceeded all of them.

And it's just and it's provable.

You know, like it's just provable.

So uh congratulations, Piper, and to the whole team down there.

It's just it's just been a uh godsend.

Yeah.

The HBCU, the inaugural HBCU game was just something um, I just we will never forget and what you all did for children in this community.

I mean, it was probably one of the most diverse things I had seen.

And for this to be HBCU, uh, to be able to expose um children and families from all the ethnic backgrounds uh who came into that arena not knowing what to expect.

Um I think people are left there just blown away.

And they're still talking about it to this day.

And um words cannot express uh the sincere gratitude that we have.

And then I of course can't believe I sat there two and a half hours at a Chris Brown concert in the stadium.

And I was, I think I got up and I was just kind of walking around and looking and seeing things that we talk about uh Ed at our Stadium Authority Board meetings and see all the improvements and things that people bring to this board meeting.

And that's why I say to you all here, use your voices.

You all see something that need to be addressed or changed.

Make sure you say something.

Uh these two that are sitting right here facing us, they get the word back and they go and they make it happen.

And changes do happen here, and we see good positive results as um as Mr.

Guzman was speaking about.

And so this is probably one of the most will-loyal machines that's happening out here.

And I know, as a former commissioner, when this when this was first presented to us, when it was just all dirt, there were a whole bunch of non-believers out there.

And um, I just think that with the LVCBA and the Raiders, um, everybody communicating and talking and just doing everything you all said you would do when you went before the state legislature.

Um, it it's been a blessing to the community.

And so, yeah, with that, Rebecca, you have anything you want to share?

And Chris, we know your bias, and so we'll save you for last.

I just concur with uh Mr.

Guzman's comments, and um, we're pretty proud to have the Raiders here in the Legion Stadium.

Yeah, and I'm not gonna steal any of the the thunder in the presentation, but I do want to mention one thing.

Um I recently had a chance to be out in Miami for the college football playoff, and um that'll be coming here next year and a lot of the other major events that are coming here.

And I think the one thing that I took away from that trip was um the game's gonna be great.

I think a lot of people focus on what that game's gonna bring from an economic standpoint.

But some of the stuff we were able to see was the lasting impacts that um the community is going to benefit from those events.

I think um what college football playoff does for literacy and for the schools.

Um, I think those are the things not everyone's gonna get to see, but just having um had the ability to participate in some of those service events out there.

Um I think when we know when we talk about how much work goes into getting these events and what it means for the city, I think sometimes we forget that um the community aspects of it are going to benefit this community for many years.

So really looking forward to um all the major events that we have coming up, in addition to all the stuff that we do on a day-to-day basis.

So there's a lot of um great stuff coming down the pipeline.

Uh that will conclude our comment um from the uh chair in the uh committee.

Um, what I'd like to do at this time now is move to staff reports um and requested items.

I'd like for Mr.

Finger, if you don't mind, sir, maybe frame this item for us that we're this presentation that we're about to hear, and then we will bring our speaker of the hour uh to the uh podium.

Absolutely, Mr.

Good morning, good to see you.

Morning, sir.

The everything we do in this room is governed by the community benefits plan.

And to the crowd or anybody that doesn't know it, it's available on the Las Vegas Stadium Authority website.

Umtiated between the Raiders inform uh their their developer, uh, technically StATCO under the original agreement.

Um and it laid out a roadmap to make the construction and operation of this facility consistent with the intent of the state lawmakers and the public funding.

Um, and also the intent of the Stadium Authority Board and all the parties um that participated in the negotiation of this deal.

The team was originally required to come to this board quarterly until we got into a cadence where there was a determination that the team was compliant with the requirements of the plan, and they have been for multiple years, compliant with the requirements of that plan.

So we've now found ourselves in a cadence of annual meetings, thus the January to January interval between the last two.

The team itself is responsible for coming and appearing before the stadium authority no fewer than four times a year on all the rest of the administrative responsibilities under the stadium lease, the stadium development agreement, all of the governing stadium documents.

And so today, as is typical for this meeting, Piper over Street White, who's the SVP of government and community affairs and her talented team are here to tell you the story of what has transpired in the last year as it relates to the various workforce requirements and community giving requirements of the community benefits agreement.

It's good to see your face for short minute there.

Um don't let the water fool you.

I took some decongest.

I'm not gonna have you up here all morning.

Um, but you know, I'm I am very excited to be before you again um because uh we could all use some good news, right?

We can talk about the good things that are happening.

Um, and there's so many other things in the world that are going on that we can take a few moments to talk about positive impact.

So, under the leadership of Sandra Douglas Morgan, transparency and governance and authenticity in our approach are just aren't just priorities, they are the standards that guide every decision we make.

Since stepping into my role, it has been my privilege to stand before this committee with in-depth, comprehensive presentations because we recognized that we had ground to cover.

We knew we needed to show clearly and consistently how uh just how we're showing up for the state.

And today I can say with confidence the Raiders are no longer simply a team that plays in Nevada.

We are part of the fabric of this community.

We have scaled key programs by more than 200%, launched our dedicated Raiders Impact social media channels to spotlight the work we're doing alongside partners across the state, and we now deliver bi-monthly newsletters to keep public stakeholders informed.

And just this morning, we released our third annual impact report, a reflection of our progress, our commitments, and our continued accountability to the people of Nevada.

You are the first to hold a copy.

You have a copy in front of you.

Um, and our goal today is really simple to show that what impact looks like in the economy and sustainability in the community.

So that the deck that I'm gonna walk you through today is a condensed version of the book that booklet that you have in front of you.

Um you probably heard me say before because I like to say I'm here for a reason, not a season.

So we'll move through this efficiently, but also leave time for questions should you have them.

I really want to start by acknowledging the phenomenal, talented, passionate group of people that I have the privilege to work with every day.

Um the team members that you see on your screen uh uh are the folks that are out there doing the work uh and making impact happen.

And I um I know that you see their names, you see their faces, but I'm a firm believer also in speaking names.

So I would just like to take a minute to call their names.

Barry Arum, Shelby Heard, Victoria Alejandre, Carla Duran, Mark Atten, Miss Lila Hay, who is also currently Miss Las Vegas, and then our football development team, Miles Hayes, Jordan Aguilar, Marley Bartlett, Chris Shelby, and then of course our uh phenomenal foundation team, Carrie Uihara and Winnie Salala.

In 2025 alone, as you see on the screen, we hosted 860,000 plus visitors across 30 plus events at Allegiant Stadium.

62% of those event goers told us that they came to Las Vegas specifically for the event that they were uh attending at Allegiant Stadium.

So that's truly new visitation.

The visitor spin translated into more than 1.1 billion dollars in economic activity.

And in plain terms, that's more hotel nights, more gaming spin, more business for restaurants and local operators.

In 2025, Billboard named Allegiant Stadium, the top grossing stadium in the US and second globally.

Quite a feat from major global tours to WrestleMania 41.

Um wrestle, I knew wrestling was a popular sport, but man was that thing packed out in that stadium.

And WWE said it was the most successful event in history for them.

And championing, and of course, the championship boxing match between uh Canelo and Crawford also occurred at Allegiant Stadium.

The big takeaway, the stadium drives economic development year-round, not just on Raiders Game Days.

And uh, of course, Mr.

Chairman, as you noted, you can, I'm sure you recognize those uniforms in the photo on the bottom right there.

Um we hosted the inaugural HBCU Classic, uh Las Vegas HBCU Classic in October.

Um, and of course, the the event attracted upwards of 30,000 fans, but it wasn't just game day.

There was a weekend of events, um, which which is typical for classics, and we weren't sure how that was gonna work out on the West Coast.

And man, um, we got uh locally owned businesses reaching out that felt the boon of that uh game, and we received positive notes from owners of Tapinash, Cigar Social Club, Chocolate City Cigar Lounge, Mariposa, Cosina and Cocktails, Grits Cafe, Classic Jewel.

These are local minority-owned businesses that benefited from hosting that game.

So we were really proud of that effort.

Sustainability.

Uh, we're not just setting goals, we're getting recognized for our outcomes.

We know that we have to be good stewards of our natural resources uh when it comes to our footprint.

And so we got 2025, we have three sustainability awards.

We are recognized uh for uh play to zero waste leader of the year for the third time, energy champion for the second, and you know we got an innovation award for our um health and wellness UNLV rush program, which you'll hear a little bit about later.

We're also one of only seven NFL teams with lead gold certification.

Our recertification is approaching, and so we're gonna aim pretty high on that one because we think we have a really efficient operation there at Allegiance Stadium.

And year after year, reducing emissions through energy efficient systems and renewable energy programs.

As a reminder, the stadium is powered by 100% renewable energy.

You heard me mention the leadership of our our uh Raiders Foundation.

And the foundation is how we focus our giving through the pillars of military and veterans, health and wellness, and youth development.

In the past year alone, we awarded $500,000 in grants to 40 local nonprofits, and we invested $55,000 with Nevada Grant Lab for their align fellowship supporting leadership development for local nonprofit executives.

Um and then our silver and black gala raised one million dollars to support mental health services.

Community support, community impact.

In 2025, we contributed 2.4 million dollars through corporate giving, in time, in kind tickets, and donated memorabilia.

Our partnership with the library district reached over 200,000 community members through Raiders Themes library cards, reading challenges, and interactive events and launches.

We have offered the stadium for civic events, such as working with the US U.S.

Citizenship and Immigration Services to host naturalization ceremonies.

In 2025, um over 200 new citizens took the oath of allegiance at Allegiance Stadium, and that was the second year in a row we had hosted.

So now we have over 400 new Americans who have taken the Oath of Allegiance at Allegiance Stadium, and we will continue to do that.

Players, everybody loves to see the players.

Um and our players showed up with 954 volunteer hours.

And let me tell you, they have you know, during the season, they have one day off a week.

And you know, sometimes you know you need to rest, either body's tired and sore, but they will get up and they will come out and they will uh visit schools and support community efforts.

Max Crosby was nominated for the 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, recognizing his sustained commitment to service.

Jeremy Chen was named NFL PA community MVP for hosting an event with unhoused teens.

And through My Cosmic Cleats, 112 players and staff highlighted more than 30 local organizations and nonprofits.

And then there's the power of partnership with our corporate sponsors.

These partnerships range from small business showcases to safety equipment donations for high schools, high school football players to $25,000 for uh the Boys and Girls Club to also game day military recognition.

That's just a snapshot of some of the events that we have partnered with our corporate sponsors on.

Football development.

Looking ahead, we're investing in the future of sports here through football development.

We organize this work through our four quarters framework, which you see outlined here.

We're lowering barriers so more boys and girls can participate and start their journey early in the game of football, whether that's tackle or flag.

In 2025, over 8,000 youth were introduced to tackle and flag football, and over 22,000 were reached through camps and wellness education.

Silver and black hospitality, allegiance stadium's concessionaire, silver and black hospitality managed in partnership with OBG, ensures there are uh opportunities for local businesses and minority and women-owned businesses uh there at the stadium.

I do want to acknowledge Charlann Edmonds, who is here with us representing um OBG and Silver and Black Hospitality.

Also, earlier, I was remiss in making sure I recognize our wonderful SVP of uh human resources, Heather DeSanto.

She came to join us this morning.

So, fundraising app uh opportunities at the stadium for local nonprofits.

What you see before you is a snapshot of local nonprofits that participated in fundraising through working concessions on game day.

So you can see um, and this is just again for 2025, all the nonprofits that have benefited through stadium efforts.

Girls and women's flag football.

Um, we really frankly have been ahead of the curve in terms of investing in women's sports through Flag Football.

One program I want to call out, as I mentioned earlier, is uh UNLV Rust, which is our partnership with UNLV School of Public Health.

It's built for middle school girls.

It's flat football plus skill building, mental wellness, self-confidence, and nutrition.

Um it's a way for girls who uh are in middle school and maybe transitioning to high school to be a part of a team sport and and carry that team sport through high school.

This year we reach hundreds of uh girls across CCSD middle schools.

And since 2020, more than 60 collegiate girls football scholarships have been awarded.

We host girls, specifically girls flag football um programs and events at our headquarters, our Inspire program.

We have uh recruiters show up from colleges and watch these girls play, and some of them have gotten scholarships on the spot.

We also invested as um athletic director Yvonne Wade mentioned from NSU 100,000 to help launch Nevada's first women's collegiate flag football program.

So to close, this isn't a moment, it is momentum.

Our commitment is long term, it's community driven, and we measure it not just in dollars, but in the people we reach in lives that we've changed.

And I we have such an amazing production team.

I cannot do a presentation without having a video.

So I would love to share a video that that that um share some sentiments from some of the the nonprofits in our community partners that we work with.

Marcus often reminded us that when the Raiders moved to Las Vegas, this community was gaining more than a football team, it was gaining an army.

They are here with you, and they are here for you and for this community that we care so deeply about.

Finding ways to create space to get back.

How are we doing?

Hey hey, happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you for being here for showing up for caring and for believing in the power of our community.

I told Meg and Peg and Greg and Fleg and Shell and Shelley and Sheldon and Shelby.

Three to the kids today, all the way from first to fifth grade.

Um just giving back.

That's what it's all about.

Employee resource group.

We serve just to bring like community culture awareness.

They allow you an opportunity to be your authentic self in a room of people who are just like you.

Be able to kind of hold space for our members, but also invite the house site community for the entire organization.

Recognizing that need and being partner with an organization who is obviously and sensitive to that.

It means so much to us.

Thank you to everybody who made this day exceptional.

Um, I'll start with Monica Ford, Monica, you're on virtually uh any questions that you may have for uh Mrs.

Piper Overstreet White.

Well, first, let me just say hello, Piper.

And no, I don't have any questions, but I do have a comment.

So oftentimes we talk about the impact that is happening in the community and all of that.

And oftentimes it doesn't always touch the ground level.

That's what I'll I'll call it ground level.

Like people that really, you know, have a say, right?

Oftentimes it's the higher organizations and things like that.

But I am so proud of the way that the Raiders have intentionally and especially under um Hyper's leadership, um, been in the community and touch the community to be able to talk to individuals and hear that they have personal experiences or personal communication about what has happened is so it's just it just pulls on our heartstrings because it truly is happening in the way that we wanted it to.

I know many of the other board members have talked about the impact and all of that stuff.

But when I go to the school and I speak to parents and children who understand what the Raiders do, why they are here, in addition to playing football, what happens in the stadiums, being able to be exposed to those games.

It is life-changing.

So thank you so much.

I really do appreciate it, and I appreciate it.

The village, um, I just want to bring that to your attention.

That we are so thankful.

The partnership, the collaborations, the commitment that has been made to our community is beyond um exceptional.

It really is.

And so thank you so much for all that you do and all that you guys will continue to do.

Uh, let me go to um board member Rebecca Felton.

Well, thank you for a great presentation.

As always, it's always been great, but thank you.

It was wonderful.

The last part was uh emotional, actually, tear.

Um but I do want to say one thing.

What I noticed is your commitment to diversity, regardless that there's been changes on a federal level.

You've maintained that commitment and and then some, which is really wonderful to see.

So I just want to thank you for that.

Not a lot of questions on my side.

Um being a the appointed member of the Raiders, kind of on this board.

I just uh just proud to have a bunch of badass coworkers that do a lot of great stuff in the community.

So just really proud to kind of see it.

I know it's a very short video, but um, I know we talk about everyone's focuses on what goes on on Sunday on the football field, but I think what happens Monday through Saturday and even on Sundays, what we do is um pretty remarkable.

So really really proud to kind of see that come to light.

Absolutely.

Yeah, um what I said earlier, uh provable.

There it is.

I mean, there's not much else that needs to be said.

Uh I remember our beginning meetings during public comment.

We remember what that was like.

All kinds of accusations before we all kinds of uh promises that weren't gonna be mad, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

It's all provable.

You've exceeded everything you guys said you're gonna do.

And you it's just wonderful.

Thank you.

Yeah, it has to feel really good to know that you all have delivered on your promise.

And you know, the thing I love about the staff here is that they um keep your feet to the fire because of course, you know, we all have to be accountable to the community.

And so I just really want to thank you and your team, your entire team, because I see a lot of them out in the community doing some really good work outside of the Raiders.

And that speaks volumes as well.

That's one of the things being a native Nevada and um growing up here in Las Vegas.

You know, people say there is no culture here, and we're missing so many things.

And I always say to people who say that, I say, go back to where you're from, if we don't have all of those elements.

But moving forward, um uh board member Monica Ford, I saw you the other night at the uh Lift Someone Up uh Bank.

Um, and when I saw this video uh that was just shown here, you're right, um Piper, it did pull at the heartstrings because that's what I saw the other night.

And uh what we're seeing is we're seeing community.

We're seeing people pull together.

And um it really is a good look because so many people right now are hurting and so many people are frightened.

I was telling Peter Guzman um right now, and I don't want to get political on anyone, but you know, my heart is broken right now as we look at everything that's happened with ice and the whole nine yards.

Um, it's just very bothersome to me.

Um but that's a whole nother subject.

But what you all are doing um in our community is is it's pretty remarkable, uh, Piper and amazing.

I don't know if any NFL teams around the country are doing this type of work.

And I've talked to uh several of my friends who are affiliated with other teams, and they're like the Raiders are doing what out in Las Vegas, and I'm like, man, do they do this there?

And they're like, oh well, they have some community stuff, but I don't think they do as much as what I'm hearing.

You say the Raiders do in Las Vegas.

So that has to make Mark Davis and your entire organization feel extremely well that um you all have been embraced now.

You know, we're happy that um we're we're we're working to build our football team, but uh you all have um made us feel good on the other side of it, right?

Um this is this has been this is a great presentation, Piper, and we appreciate it.

And I'm looking at this one photo that you have in the book there uh with Gramlin football team on their knee, on their knees.

Um that had to be one of the most emotional pieces of that football game.

Um, if anybody knows, the uh quarterback was severely hurt um during that game, and nobody in the public even knows how you and Sandra Douglas Morgan and Mark Davis have gone above and beyond for that single mother.

Her son was severely hurt here in Las Vegas, and he laid in our hospital long after everybody went home and the game was over, he was still here and I see you.

People didn't know that.

The media didn't have access to that.

But man, I get a lump in my throat thinking about this.

How Mark Davis said whatever we need to do to take care of her, make that mother feel comfortable while she's caring for her child.

Village work.

You guys went there.

You took her to do her laundry.

You took her.

She had no one.

This is a single mother of three kids, three boys, and she's watching her middle son suffer.

And Piper and Sandra would go out of their way and go and sit with her and drive her around and make sure that she had some family here in Las Vegas.

And to know that Mark Davis gave the green light to say whatever she needs, we're gonna take care of her.

That that's what you guys did.

And I'm saying it publicly, you guys have never said it.

You guys have never talked about it, but I'm telling everybody, uh, Gramlin State University Nation is so grateful to the Raiders um for loving on uh quarterback T set.

And just Matt, that would that's that's a blessing.

And I I'm happy to even know that I live in a city where there is a football team here that cares.

And excuse me, ladies, for saying this, that give a damn.

That's right.
