I'm so glad to see what everyone out tonight. I want to welcome everyone to our Clayton County Board of Commissioners regular business meeting. It is now called to order. The day is Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, and the time is 6 p.m. Next, we will do roll call. District 1. I'm here. District 3. Present. District 2. President. And District 4. Present. Alright, and I'm present as well. We will move on to our invocation and pledge of allegiance. Our invocation tonight will be done by the wonderful senior pastor, Dr. Wesley Green of Amazing Grace World Outreach Church in Forest Park, Georgia. He will come up and do our invocation. And thereafter, we will have the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Would you please stand for the invocation and the pledge of allegiance? Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we come with great joy. We come with great thanksgiving because you have been so good to us. And Lord, we come with a grateful heart. I ask your blessings upon this county continually. All approximately 300,000 citizens here. I ask you to bless every home, every business. And the first shall be last. Lord, we're claiming first place. Lord, we're thanking you for smiling upon this county. Lord, I'm thanking you for blessing our fire chief, uh, Chief Sweat, our Chief, a police chief, Chief Roberts, our sheriff, uh, Sheriff Allen, and Lord, I ask your blessings upon our wonderful Madam Chair, Alika Anderson Henry, and all of our beautiful and handsome uh board members. Lord, the give them supernatural wisdom. Wisdom in every decision, Lord, and and all their thoughts and all their meditation. Lord, you said wisdom is the principal thing, the main thing. Therefore, get wisdom. And I ask a special blessing of wisdom upon this board, Lord, that you would bless them to make great decisions. I pray for a spirit of unity, because Lord, your word also says, united we stand, but divided we fall. So I pray that you knit their hearts together. I pray, Lord, that they become one in the gold of making this the greatest place to live, work, and play. Lord, thank you for all you've done. I thank you for the 44 years that my family have lived here in Clayton County. All seven of our children went to school here, our ten grandchildren and thirteen-grandchildren in schools here. And Lord, we just love you today. And Lord, we uh we're not ashamed to praise you, the most high God. Bless this meeting, bless the agenda, bless all 2600 employees approximately here in Clayton County, Georgia. And Lord, take care of our police, uh, that they put their lives on the line, our firemen, uh, all of those that uh risk their lives here for each of us. We give thanks.
