6:41

Good afternoon, board.

6:42

John Stevens, co-compliance inspector for the city of Clearwater.

6:45

Again, this is case number 125-25 for 917 Pinella Street.

6:50

Uh this is actually a repeat violation case for short-term uh rental, or excuse me, a legal short-term rental.

6:59

Uh the notice of violation was mailed out on June 10th of this year, and uh we received it back in the office returned to sender on June 25th.

7:08

So I went out on June 26th and actually posted the property.

7:11

And this is a picture of the property here itself, and you can see up here next to the door.

7:15

That's my my posting of that notice.

7:39

Uh the picture from the initial violation that started this whole case back in uh March or excuse me, May of 2024.

7:48

This should show you that on that date you could actually release it for for one day.

7:52

So they were in violation of the code at that point.

7:57

Uh this is also where they obtained their business tax receipt uh afterwards, and there is information on there that I'll say informs them about what we define as a short-term rental and the initial that they will not, you know, basically partake in doing short-term rentals.

8:13

Uh the next slide here is actually on June the 10th of this year when I found the property again on Airbnb.

8:19

You can see here where I have highlighted that uh I was able to select it for a two-night minimum stay.

8:26

Uh this is on June 26th when I had to go back out there and post the property after receiving the mail back.

8:32

Again, I could select it for a two-night minimum.

8:37

And then this was on uh July 25th, it was still set as a two-night minimum.
