uh January twenty ninth two thousand twenty motion to approved second all right all those in favor say aye no to the next item uh the purpose of this agenda action means any of the following meeting approving approving referring giving instructions to staff making recommendations at other topic five the saving document the presentations referring to committee reconsider reopening return striking the six ratings items business number two discussion possible action regarding all infrastructure report on current projects taking place within the county I believe uh this is the Brian went would be the the gym speaker so some updates on some of the things going on uh I took the paragraph off and then building building we have uh it's on the second page of it uh which I do vendor they were extremely successful uh so we had on 1500 items and it's all really moved or something for sure which is what so which is very simple.

5:57

This is uh just between brand which is the children's boat and sale a couple times a year and it's the first time they were able to get into this the new building is why they attributed to she said she posted a fly through the building before they moved in having 5800 views and there were uh a lot of interest and excitement so um we've got a lot of good reports uh about it so much for the fairgrounds I've sold more than fifty percent and city that's the most successful uh they had so they're very excited about it.

6:33

So they sell other than they have a good 500 pretty much just I was here yesterday.

6:49

And we're down there very well you've seen the pictures and videos that they had when they it was completely full when you filled an entire facility up and it was just children's phone just clothing maybe set up toys and lot and shoes things about check.

7:07

But it was uh it was good to hear that we had that our vendor are being successful in the building set.

7:14

Alright six thirty one so that that's within our uh fair ground very paid off doing well for the phone week and we said that six thirty one building um our access control uh is ongoing and we've got uh companies working on it and working on it this week and next week we've got a finish up we had uh we had one item came up during our um first voting cycle the first official voting cycle in the building um was when we went to load back in and a load out on the voting top and then the the the truck you know just over with it so we bought a edge web order today uh that won't be installed so that the next time we just moved that uh all reports from the folks that bring them the ballots and the property off this and some hands down to stuff that uh good lighting you know we start to do a bunch like when we go drop the ballots and machines off and uh they didn't even have to get on the video of what we bring type or stuff we've got thin in and out that so it was very sheriff 50 is actually loading things ballots etc.

8:28

Uh there's a little bit of video I think Brian post on his Facebook page with it from first we all reports is working right on the side which is awesome.

8:37

So you got the access control connection with the so the access control like the battery or something okay yes so it's so that they can use the badges uh we had a few items and we put it in some hardware that was existing in the building to one items they receive those Friday and then that's a part of the uh sheriff's office we've got a movement date now it's officially set for April uh night it'll be moving the ninth and the tip uh which is early Friday and we'll be back up fully on Monday uh probably this on Friday but just in case you know there's some things on the fish come back up with the so that moving out the six four yes sir we have a lot of work and it's gonna be for sure so uh so they're gonna hear the sheriff's office they're here to move through those two there's a lot that would be done uh you know nothing on center and those types of things uh has to be very good so we know about uh open house is anything that's uh but open house day remote for like a river cutting group something yeah something like that.

10:02

Um the players are kind of slowly in the works because we would kind of wait for an initial day and we'll probably go out.

10:08

If I had to guess about A6, that would be there for a while to use for us to get all the different people.

Discussion Items

  • Infrastructure Report: Vice-Chairman Brian Wint presented updates on current projects:
    • Fairgrounds Building: A children's clothing vendor held a successful sale in the new building, reporting over 1,500 items and 5,800 views from a pre-move flyer. More than 50% of inventory was sold, making it the vendor's most successful event.
    • 631 Building (Election Services): Access control system installation is ongoing, with work expected to finish in the next week. A new edge ladder was ordered to resolve loading dock issues. The first official voting cycle in the building proceeded smoothly with improved lighting and loading procedures.

    • 718 Portally Building: Space clearing will begin; elected officials will tag items to keep or sell. Surplus furniture from the 631 building will be evaluated.

    • Air Curtains: Installed at the west entrance and employee entrance to improve temperature retention during winter and summer.
    • Elevator: One elevator failed the state inspection; the committee is awaiting state requirements to proceed with repairs.
    • Lighting Controls: Replacing outdated panels in multiple offices with new controls, including motion sensors and daylight harvesting.
    • Roof Replacement: A pre-bid meeting was held with several contractors. The roof (three sections) is completely compromised and will be rebuilt down to the metal deck; bids are expected within a few weeks.
    • Air Handling Unit: An old air handler from the early 1970s at the courthouse needs replacement (previously deferred) and is now out for bid. The new unit will be variable-speed to improve efficiency.

  • The committee received the infrastructure report and discussed all projects; no formal action was taken on the report itself.
  • A motion to adjourn was made, seconded, and passed unanimously.
