Meeting Transcript
Okay, I think we're close enough here. Call me to order the county budget or so bosses. Here. Ward? Here. How it here? Chris and absent folks. Here. Cleveland. Here. Williams? Here. Richard. Here, we have a quorum. And then we'll send that. I would defend this. Item number one is discussion of possible action to open the county general fund that one set budget. Any taxpayer wishing to discuss or make comments on the Cleveland County Flying budget? Anyone? Second, Ronnie Roll, please. McHughes? Yes. War? Yes. Howlett? Yes. Okay. Yes. Okay. Cleveland. All right. Williams? Yes. Richard. Yes. Motion carry. Okay. Item number two is discussion possible action regarding the approval of the FY27 Cleveland County budget. This was pretty clear and uh all budget board members are one of the doctors. Everybody has the estimate of uh of revenues next year. Um you work on it, work on it. I think that is uh one notable difference is gonna be uh last year we agreed uh three million dollars and interest. Um this year is only about one point five million, and that was simply possible uh we think but um we're showing our estimated revenues is probably down a little bit, um, but our at the loorum is it's gonna is estimated to be up and uh so we were looking at 42 million dollars in estimated revenues, add in our carryover or our general fund balance of 24 million five hundred and fifty dollars and that for instance 266,597,000 or six million five hundred and ninety-seven thousand four hundred and sixty-six dollars, and then we this is this is actually budgeting to uh nine five percent of our estimated revenues um five percent gives us a balance too of sixty-six million two hundred and sixty-six thousand. Um our estimate of needs um totaled sixty three million seven hundred and what it seven hundred and twenty-five thousand four hundred and ninety-three dollars. Um, I propose is I'm thinking the test need for the uh the reserve carryover account that we had um uh estimated at nineteen million um to reduce that by like one hundred and fifty seven thousand so and then that would that would give us into a balance or fifty seven thousand nine hundred dollars from Ron. I'll get seconds second from Maryland McHughs, yes, war, yes, palett, yes, yes, Cleveland, Williams, yes, Richard, motion carry. Probably would do a separate version to approve the overall budget, or is that good enough to basically have to function? I think it's best based upon Rod's motion. That's what I understand just happened. County commissioner's question possible action, approved the transfer funds from our 2021 and ops to comparate 2021 infrastructure needs a county building project with about 389,000.
