So up first is the presentation of our Senator Chuck Graham uh award, and I'll first read our first recipient and then come down there.

So the Senator Chuck Graham Award was established by the City of Columbia's Disabilities Commission in 2023 in memory of their former chair and Senator Chuck Graham.

The recipient of this award should have demonstrated consistent attention to and efforts towards inclusion for all persons with disabilities and an interest or engagement in policy development at a municipal, state, or federal level.

And it directly impacts the lives of disabled persons.

So this year the commission recognizes one organization and one individual.

So the Daniel Boone Regional Library has served the community for over 60 years and today is recognized for its commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

The library offers sensory-friendly story times, programs for adults with the disabilities, memory cafes, curbside service, and adaptive dividigs to ensure it is welcoming to residents of all ages and abilities.

The staff there receive training and regularly evaluate the accessibilities of their programs and facilities to meet the needs of people with physical, sensory, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
