So this is the Board of Awards for Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026. We're calling the meeting order at 1009 a.m. Uh my name's Chip Volcan purchasing agent. We have with us in attendance today, Attorney Tracy Norris, our system corporation counsel. We have Ms. Megan Tessa, senior project leader in the technology services department. Ms. Debbie Natalie, our assistant purchasing agent. We have Mr. Kenton Higgins, our assistant superintendent of public utilities, and Mr. Dan Garrick, our finance director. We have four items on the agenda. The first item is network services slash infrastructure support for fiscal year 2025-2026 for technology services department. And for the record, we have previously awarded these services to computer integrated services or CIS as they're known. Per their IT support contract with the city. So we need a motion, please. Megan Pasta, I'd like to make a motion to allow for the amendment request. Okay. Seconded by Mr. Garrick. This was a purchase order so just amend that. Any discussion. Seeing none, all in favor. All right. Motion carriage and apps. They're all set back. Welcome to the spectrum. Moving on to number two, uh, new cybersecurity system at West Lake and Marjorie Water Treatment Plant for Cleveland Uities. One. So for the record, uh the control system upgrades for Westlake and Marjorie Water Treatment Plant were declared an emergency with the April 15th, 2024 Board of Awards. At that time, we also waived the formal bidding requirements and we set a budget of 2.6 million. Uh the cyber security system work is part of that overall uh budget that was set for the control system upgrade. Uh GHD was the project engineer, uh, reached out to three vendors to obtain proposals for the cybersecurity work. Uh Schneider Electric, uh, Rockwell International and Coastal Industrial Technologies. Uh GHD followed up with a uh letter uh April 13th, 2026, which they're recommending that the cybersecurity work be awarded to coastal industrial technologies as the lowest qualified proposer. Uh their bid total was 219,892 dollars and eighty-nine cents. And it's indicated uh that this work would be paid for out of the water 2023 bond. But we need a motion from you. I'd like to make a motion to award to Coastal, the lowest qualified bidder for the new cybersecurity system at Westlake and Merjorary Water Treatment Plants. And that's going to be contingent on the contract. Second second by Mr. Garrick. Any discussion? Yes. Okay, yeah. Uh any further discussion. Seeing none, all in favor. See Norris, I vote in favor. Ken Higgins, I vote in favor. Motion carries unanimously.
