Uh that current uh award period expires June 30th, 2026.

2:36

Uh, the bid also allows for a one-year renew, renewal by mutual consent, and clear order has corresponded that they will hold their bid pricing for another year.

2:44

4:16

Uh I'll just note that Jim has been providing these services for many consecutive years.

4:21

He's a local Danbury vendor, highly regarded by all requisitioning departments.

4:26

Uh, that $54 rate has been in place for the past two years.

4:30

Uh, the rates bid by Jim over the years have always consistently been uh extremely fair compared to the market.

4:38

Uh, he was the only bidder on this current bid, and uh we compared him to the uh state of Connecticut welding rates, and he's about half the price.

6:26

Uh the amount of the initial award, uh the previous award was 59,730 and 75 cents.

6:34

Uh, after the award was made, the public utilities corresponded uh that they had learned that the awarded system did not include uh an electric lift and a rear view camera.

6:45

That was uh I guess assumed at the time.

6:47

Yes.

6:47

Uh sanitary sewer has since provided an updated uh quote, uh which indicated that the cost of the electric lift would be $5,604, and the cost of the rear view camera would be $2,240.

7:02

I'd like to make a Victor, I'd like to make a motion to award the amendment to Sanitary Sewer Equipment to add the rear view camera and electric lift to the previous purchase from June 3rd.

Uh the current award period expires June 30th, 2026.

8:41

Uh, the bid allows for an option to renew by mutual consent.

8:44

And Harper Haynes has corresponded that they will hold their current rates for another year.

8:48

I'd like to make a motion to renew the pressure reducing valve, control valve, and check valve maintenance and repairs contract with Harper Haynes.

8:56

Okay.

8:57

Seconded by Mr.

8:58

Garrick, and these are PO's is needed.

9:01

Any additional discussion.

9:03

Saying not all in favor.

9:08

Okay, motion carries unanimously.

9:11

Moving on it number 10.

9:13

Uh engineering services, margery, water treatment plant, fuel oil storage, tank system replacement, uh change order for public utilities department.

9:23

For the record, uh we're previously awarded the engineering services uh for this project to TRC engineers.

9:29

That was per their on-call contract with the city.

9:32

Uh the initial award amount was 98,500.

9:36

Uh, Mr.

9:36

Higgins has submitted a request now to amend that previous award amount by an additional 29,000.

9:44

29,000 is to cover additional administration services and also to provide a reserve should oil contamination uh be discovered.

9:54

I'd like to make a motion to award uh the change order to TRC and increase the 29,000 to the PO if needed.

10:01

Okay, just for the record, the charge code.

10:03

I could I don't know what to bring, but the charge code for the additional is uh water 2023.9814-7000.0599.

10:14

Okay.

10:15

So motion we have a second second by Mr.

10:18

Garrick.

10:18

Any discussion?

10:20

None all in favor.

10:22

Tracy Norris I will in favor.

10:25

All right, motion carries unanimously.

10:28

Moving item number 11.

10:29

This is a bid for man both framing covers.

10:32

Uh this is an annual unit price bid for items to be purchased as needed.

10:36

It was previously awarded to Corinne Maine.

10:38

Uh the uh previous award period has expired.

10:41

We had an option to renew for an additional year.

10:43

Uh Corn Maine corresponded that because of the current business climate, uh, they cannot hold the prices.

10:50

They asked for some uh price increases on the unit.

10:55

And they also are advising that they can only hold their price for six months.

10:59

Uh we could compare their price increases and they uh reasonable to the market at this time.

11:05

Like to make a motion to renew the manhole frames and covers contract with court main.

11:10

And that'll just be for six months.

11:12

Oh, for a six-month period.

11:13

Yeah, second.

11:14

Second by Mr.

11:16

Garrett is purchase orders.

11:18

Any discussion.

11:19

Seeing not all in favor.

11:22

Tracy Norris I will.

11:23

Centon Higgins, are we in favor?

11:25

All right, motion barriers unanimously.

11:28

And this time we need to uh make a motion to add one item.

11:31

This is the uh Westlake Water Treatment Plan group system design services for public utilities department.

11:38

So I'll make that motion to add it.

11:40

Okay, second it and uh the reason for adding this is that the uh public utilities department has submitted a change order request in April, April 27th, 2026, but it's been on hold because we're waiting for some backup information.

11:53

That backup information came yesterday afternoon.

11:56

Uh, we need to use the change orders out of the system because uh closing year end and the switch over to Munis.

12:03

So um in agreement, I guess it's all in favor to add this item as a not as an as an additional item to the agenda.

12:13

Good.

12:14

I'm just uh all in favor of the case.

12:18

Uh so the background on this is we uh previously awarded these services to um HP Fishman.

12:25

Um the amount of the time uh was $33,400.

12:29

Uh subsequent to the award, uh contract was executed and a purchase order was issued in the amount of $32,800.

12:37

And we have just received this.

12:39

Uh we received an amendment request for public utilities to increase the uh $328 by an additional six thousand dollars.

12:47

And that's the cover final site visit, punchless work, and close out paperwork.

12:54

And apparently there was some delay with the contractor uh doing the work, which ate up some of the upfront work that uh HB Fishman's had originally included in their proposal.

13:05

That's right.

13:05

I'd like to make a motion to change change the contract with HP Fishman to award an additional six thousand dollars.

13:14

Okay, second second by Mr.

13:16

Garrick.

13:17

Any discussion?

13:18

See none, all in favor.

13:20

Okay, Garrett in favor.

13:21

Tracy Norris I go in favor.

13:22

Captain Higgins, I'm gonna motion carries unanimously and a motion adjourned.

13:27

Second by Mr.

13:28

Garrett, all in favor to adjourn.

13:30

Opposed.

13:32

Thank you.
