All right, good evening. I would like to call this special uh city council meeting to order for Wednesday, October 14th, 2026. Uh, we'll have a moment of silence. All right, thank you. Alderman Vasquez will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands one nation and indivisible liberty and justice for all. Brian, can you call the roll, please? Done. Vasquez. Holloway. Present. Leanan. Present. Grip. Here. Newton. Here. Blonk. Job Junior and Burkholder. Here. Eight present, Your Honor. All right. Thank you. We have one resolution this evening. And before I read that, just very briefly. Last week, I think our intent was very clear in terms of what we wanted to do, and that was to name uh Bob Ingram to the second ward seat. Um, from a procedural perspective, we probably should have done it a little bit more precise, and so just in an in a desire to be Uber transparent and open about exactly what our intent was. Uh we wanted to make sure that we did it accurately. So that's the reason for this uh second special meeting. So the resolution reads as follows uh a resolution approving the appointment of uh Robert Bob Ingram to fill the vacancy in the second ward city council seat. Well, an alder person move the resolution. So move. Second. All right, is there any discussion from any council members? Seeing no one, Brian, can you call a roll on this resolution? Burkeholder? Yes. Job Jen? Yes.
