It's very uh got a lot of great stuff on the calendar this evening.

The first item I want to highlight um is um item E8, which is a service agreement with the City of Trotwood.

This is to sell uh potable water uh to the City of Trotwood.

Trotwood is one of the customers that Dayton serves.

They join Brookville in going from a um a flat uh surcharge to the cost of service model.

So they so it's a again that's a the cost of service model is a much more equitable way for um folks to pay for the water they use and their percentage of the overhead.

And so we're glad to see this come forward.

This is a 15-year agreement with a 10-year renewal period.

So that's uh nice work by the water department.

Um also on the item uh are on your calendar tonight are three uh legislative items, which are all related to the special uh uh improvement district.

That is a very um state regulated process that um takes a little over a year.

Uh I know we have our partners here from the uh downtown Dayton Partnership who um I know they feel like they just get it done and then they have to turn around and start the renewal process again because it's um expires at the end of this year.

So it will be for the period of 2026 through 2030.

You all at the very beginning of the process, your action helps provide consent on the drafted work plan, services plan, that they um they get that approval before they start going out and getting signatures because they want to make sure that we're all aligned.
