Good morning, everybody. Great to see you all. Thank you so much for being here. I know thank you to all our council members who were here, I think to one of the morning last night and a very long ten-hour hearing. So thank you for the incredible work that you all put in. Um and want to do a quick round of introductions. We do have a short general session this morning. Uh, and then we have a closed session update. Um, but I will turn to the distinguished gentleman to my right to our first welcome. Gentle woman, I said good old. Um good morning, everyone. Set Anna Gonzalez Gutierrez. Um, one of the council members at large. Morning, Daryl Watson, District Nine. Good morning, Diana Romero Campbell, Southeast Denver District Four. Good morning, Amanda Sanovo, Northwest Denver District. Uh great, and thank you all so much for being here. We will do uh round-opening announcements. If anybody has announcements for us for general session, want to open up the floor for that. President Pro Tem. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. Um, just a real quick announcement. We are holding our um heart of Southeast Denver where you belong uh summer series of events. Tomorrow is Putt Putt at Kennedy golf course. Um it is a no-cost event. We still have some slots available. Um, we will be going from like about twelve to four uh tomorrow, and hot dog chips in a soda are also included. So please come and join us. Um you can sign up on um on my website, and uh we just hope you can come. Thank you. Thank you so much, President Proto. Any other announcements, Council Watson? Uh not quite an announcement. I just wanted to to make a uh a quick statement that I kind of contemplated whether I should or shouldn't, but I think I will. Um we had uh some votes last night, voted on the bond. Um, and there were items that um were not picked up because it's all process. We have a process, we have a prioritization process, we have a listing of uh of projects. Um project received has been receiving a lot of attention, and it's the uh clerk and recorder's office. Um there have been um from my perspective at Hanonim Um statements um uh intimating that there may be some level of space between where the clerk and recorders office is at, where Denver City Council is at, as far as our respect and support for fair, transparent elections. Um, whatever the vote was on the bond, as I said to the clerk um this weekend when I spoke with him, whatever the vote was on um including um funding for the office in the bond, that does not reduce our shared commitment, and that it has been to make sure that Denver voters have a safe and transparent voting process. Um I know that uh council president is is here and willing to work directly with the clerk's office, and so my encouragement is for um the statements to stop and for us to get to the table and find ways to really increase funding, spending, and support jointly. That's what leaders do. We come together and we seek solutions in tough times. So I just wanted to quickly say to the clerk, we respect you, your office, and we're looking forward to working with you. Thank you, Madam President. Thank you, Councilman. Thank you, Council Watson.
