- Councilman Flint warned about a bear and cub spotted in South Harvey Park near Bear Creek. Wildlife officers are monitoring them and will not relocate due to low survival rates; residents are advised to remove bird feeders and keep pets safe.
- Councilman Sawyer announced the 30th anniversary celebration of Mayfair Park this weekend (5-8 PM), featuring the Denver Municipal Band, food trucks, and the East High School jazz band. He also reminded District 5 residents to watch for the annual survey postcard in early September, which reaches over 25,000 households, and announced a community cleanup day on Sunday, September 27, at Montclair Recreation Center (8:30 AM).
- The Council President noted the cancellation of last Saturday's concert due to lightning but announced a rescheduled concert on September 19 at Eisenhower Park with the Denver City Jazz Band and TJ Orchestra. She also invited residents to a child care conversation with the Office of Children's Affairs on Wednesday at Eisenhower Park from 5:30 to 7 PM.
- The Vice President highlighted the ribbon cutting for the renovated girls' softball field at North High School (3 PM) and the home opener at 4 PM, noting it was the first major maintenance in 20 years.

We do have some opening announcements, and then we do have an executive session to follow. And so we will start with introductions and announcements from all of our distinguished members that are here. We're better to begin with the four gentlemen to my right. Thank you very much. Open with announcements. Are there any announcements that council members would like to make for fellow members and or the public at large? Councilman Vidris. Thank you. You can join us tomorrow from five at 5 p.m. at the Habitat for Humanity Headquarters at 430 South Navajo Street. We'll be reading amendments five through nine. It's been a lot of fun to have these conversations with community. Another fun community event coming up this Saturday is the Porch Fest lineup second drop will be happening. And it's also a fundraiser for the Baker neighborhood urban garden. They're at risk of losing their food garden in Baker neighborhood, and so come support. You get to listen to great music, find out about the lineup for Porch Fuss, and you'll also get to support a great cause. And then after that, we have yet another event on Saturday, which we are celebrating the Broadway Bark uh dog park that is now going to continue for the next while. So come down to the Broadway Park at 6 p.m. on Saturday and we'll celebrate with our furry friends with hot dogs and real dogs. Thank you. And never the two shall mix. A lot of partying happening in District 7. What can you do to match that, Council Wilson? We're not matched at all, but uh want to say um we tonight we're having in the fine district 9 um the Welcome Next Steps um community advisory group, our fifth uh community meeting to discuss uh multimodal options for the outline, and so that'll be from 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. at the Blair Calwell Library. And um I shared last night um a little kind of fun uh this weekend on Saturday uh the 22nd um from 5 to about uh 9 p.m. or if you're really gonna party hard it goes along into that. Clear Park Robinson Dance has their number one fundraiser of the year. It's the dancing with the Denver Stars. Uh last year I had a few friends at the table here came and watched as um the mayor and I showed up and showed out uh for our dancing with the stars. Um this year we won't be performing, but we'll be there to support uh Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. So come on out and support uh Cleo this weekend. Thank you so much. Thank you so much, Councilman.
