I want to reiterate my thanks to the former members of the Commission and special thanks to former Chairman Cox for his leadership.

Before we move on to the agenda, I want to briefly discuss the role of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the procedures of tonight's meeting.

As a reminder, the Planning and Zoning Commission is an advisory and recommending body to City Council.

The job of this commission is to review development proposals and determine whether proposal meets the applicable standards of review.

There are three petitions on the agenda this evening, and anyone wishing to testify will need to be administered the oath by the court reporter.

The process we will go through tonight is we will first hear from city staff followed by questions the commission have for staff.

We will then invite the applicant to provide a brief overview of their proposal, and the commission will then ask questions of the applicant.

After that, the we will open the hearing to public uh comment uh for questions and comments.

And during that time, um for those that are wishing uh to testify before the commission, please come forward, state your name and spell it and provide your address.

Public comments should be addressed to the commission who will keep notes on the questions, concerns raised, and then city staff and the applicant will have the opportunity to address those questions.
