The regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on September 14, 2026, was called to order but immediately postponed due to the absence of one commissioner, who was injured in a car accident. Without a quorum, the commission could not proceed with the petitions on the agenda. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the same location.
Fortunately, the commissioner we were expecting uh to have quorum tonight was um in a car accident um and is not going to be able to be here tonight. So um, we are gonna have to postpone um the petitions for tonight's meeting um to uh the following meeting in October. Um, so uh you can continue working with Demir on uh all those things leading up for the next um commissioner planning and zoning commission meeting. Um, really apologize about um the situation here, but we all hope that she is all right as well. So thank you. And just for everybody's uh information, the next regularly scheduled meeting is on Monday, October five, and that's gonna be at seven PM same place. Uh notice and uh the neighborhood notice that we sent through the surrounding property owners for both petitions, just to make sure that everybody gets the notice about the second second meeting. So apologies, but that's really nothing we could have done. So next week.
